I wonder what the difference would be between this new kit and the existing Royal at DDR4-4266MHz

    32GB (2x16GB)
    Royal:
    DDR4-4266 CL17-18-18-38 1.50V

    New kit:
    DDR4-4000 CL16-19-19-39 1.40V (voltage in screenshot)

Slightly lower voltage, but timings are mix of up and down compared to the royal kit.

These should useful when zen3 arrives and i will probably get a new kit for the 5800x. Zen2 is basically stuck at 3600.

Wonder if the 32GB 16-19-19-39 4000MHz kit would be any better than the 32Gb 19-19-19-39 kit I am running at 16-16-16-34?

    That's 4 x 8 not 2 x 16 - big difference! For a second I was getting ready to break out my wallet ;-)

I wish it was easier to find a good 2x 16gb or 2x 32gb (for 5xx AMD chipset) stick of RAM at a decent speed, too. Admittedly, it's a very niche market.
Yeah, it never fails with how many people don't understand / comprehend the whole "latency VS Mhz speeds" trade-off.
Manufacturers continue to make a killing on high latency high Mhz modules though.

I didn't realise Ryzen prefers 2  I thought 4 was faster on Intel. It wasn't hard to get 4 x 8gb 3600 CL17 working in my Z390. If I had those G.Skill, I'd probably try to run 3733 CL14. These things are going to be way too expensive for me to justify an "upgrade" :D
