I have this memory paired with a 1800x. I can also confirm its plug in, select XMP profile and you are running at 3200Mhz. I can only get very mild OC's out of it without going to crazy on voltage but none the less good compatible memory.
Im currently running with a 1700x 4.0Ghz and 2x8GB Geil Evo X CL16 kit and these works just fine at 3200mhz without any tweaks or doodads. It has to be said that the Bios update has been a bit of a rollercoaster - But with the 1.0.0.6 update, it works like a charm. So i can recommend them to anyone else who is thinking of getting a Ryzen system.
How did you figure out the DIMM was bad? Is everyone still using memtest86 or is there some other, better way? Or do you have a dedicated memory tester?
