FX5200 Help with Counter Strike Source!

    I have searched these forums thouroughly and yet to find anything that helps, i have tried numerous amount of drivers for my card and yet i still cant get the right one, basically this is what happens when i play CS-source:

    notice the patches on the ground?
    all those patches flash everywhere when i walk etc and its really annoying, im currently using the StarStormWinXP2kv5672XQ Drivers and these are cuurently the best iv found, but i would really like to get rid of all the crap showing up!

    Also whenever i scroll in internet explorer etc i get this:

    Return the card to the manufacturer or buy a new one as it would seem that the card is heat damaged or near death.

    Damn, oh well never mind fx5200 is CRAP anyway, also another thing when i view a video etc in media player its really bright and the colours are off :/

    The video problem should be a Driver problem.

    And for the artifacts, have you reinstalled the game and how about the temps in your case?

    Yes most games do it only just installed the game, got an extra fan on the side of my case, temps about 42 degrees mobo and 22 degrees for somehting else cant remember

    What about the temps for the GPU?
    Are you Overclocking your card?

    If not, RMA.

    i think the GPU is 22 degrees, im not overclocking no, i try using rivatuner and put the notch up one bit and test it it says the settings dont work and puts the default settings back. lol

    He cant check the temps because he has an FX5200 and those didnt come equiped with temp sensors I think?

    Yah, They only come with mobo and HD sensors (I think). I use my mobo as it is probably a close estimate. ( Wierd thing is SpeedFan shows 4 temps, and 2 of them are -128C, yes minus)

    Yeah but actually, thermal sensors cost about 3-5 dollars.
