    Hi guys,

I did installed from 61.77 to 71.24...i find some experiences through out.

stick with your fav drivers and dont bother try out that sh!t% cuz those beta seems falling apart...

HL 2 - yellow water, which do you think those drivers bugs OR HL 2 itself bugs ?

I am running 67.03, no plm with my games. i did install higher verison than 67.03, i get weird stuff on screen, bsod, reboot, restart, freeze, stutters, back to desktop, arifacts, heating, and rolled back to 67.03 seems stable for now.

right now....i am too old to play around with beta stuff anymore cuz i do not want to abuse my new 6800 with stinks beta drivers, yawn....waste of time....

I just need one least new WHQL driver from Nvida NOW !!! :D

btw, Nvidia is too busy with Sony for PS3 and dont have time working on WHQL ???

    Peace

I think it's a nvidia driver pb because there's no topic about that bug in steam official forum, and no pb too on ati cards :(

so wait and see for a manufacturer fix (if they planned one !)

I believe nvidia has a group of people developing drivers therefore i think the idea of nvidia working withsony for the ps3 isn't going to impact the development of the forceware drivers:)

the last and best nvidia driver who don't give this yellow water are the 71.20 ; for me, they're the best driver and had no bugs in any game. I'm using the VXG 71.20b and are really great -c version for NV30,b version for NV4. I'll try other when this bug is fixed, for the moment, 71.22/71.24/71.40/71.50 have all this yellow water effect, and the bench i make are the same, at 1 or 2 fps difference.

That happens on all video cards. It's a game problem.

Gotta agree with the 71.20...but i dont play HL2 and it seems thats the only real problem with 71.40 i might try them anyway.

These drivers still have the broken Hotkeys funtion in Nview Desktop Manager. It picked up my previous settings for the hotkeys only because I said 'no' to deleting Nview settings when uninstalling the previous drivers, there is still no list of hotkey assignments shown making it impossible to assign new hotkeys.

CS:S Stress Test still gives me 53fps like 71.24

HL2 has brown/muddy water in Route Kanal, but judging by the rubbish in the water I think that looks right, better than uncontaminated clear water. HL2 also crashed to desktop within 2 minutes with no error message in this part, loading it up a second time it didn't crash after 5 minutes!

One other problem (maybe a game bug?), when shooting at the sides of a wooden forklift palette no bullet holes are shown, yet shoot it from underwater and the bullet holes are shown?

Keeps until something newer comes along :)

:( Not keeps! These crashed Scrapland with a windows 'Device Failure' message, and when I re-ran the game got an access violation message box!! I'm wondering if these drivers caused HL2 to crash as it's the first time ever HL2 crashed on me!!

I've also added an extra stick of 512mb RAM to make me 1GB, so going to run some memtests too!

Re-installed 71.24 and Scrapland didn't crash, so i'm back to 71.24 for now.

Holy COW! These drivers are excellent. Image Quality is excellent, the Speed is BLOODY GOOD.

Went from 115~ on VST to 132.

    Used 71.24 DNA.

These drivers are a must to check out, i have not used 71.50 as people said it has problems with temp readings, so i stuck to 71.40 as they seem good and i mean these are keepers.
