    Still not a 4K HFR card, unfortunately, but I have to agree, it's quite a beast.
    Wasn't a cheap beast when I bought mine, but it was "reasonable", unlike these $1000+ cards today.

    I really hope FSR3 will be applied in some indy games as well soon (as I don't really play any AAA titles, but 90% indy games). Some have excellent graphics but sustaining 4K 120 (which the TV is capable of) is really hard even for a 6800XT.
    Probably double of that performance will be necessary to lock the fps to 120.

    Maybe in 2025...

    It handles 3440x1440 like a champ and it has enough vram. Im really happy so far and xfx cards are a beasts the longest card i ever had for 340mm.

    It will hold me until 7900xt prices drop next year. Idk how this antilag+, fsr3 thing will end up for rdna2.

    Well, yea, 4K is a bit harder.

    Just a small rough calculation:
    - Assuming you have an 144Hz display for 3440x1440, that's 713318400 pixels to calculate every second.
    - a 4K OLED TV with 120Hz refresh is 3840x2160, so 995328000 pixels to calculate, or 39% more !

    7900 XTX is ... 58% faster (according to TPU), so that would definitely cover the difference !
    Unfortunately, the price is still way out of my reach (they cost €1200+ where I live), so ... I'll just wait to see what next gen will bring, perhaps something as or almost as fast as 7900 XTX, but at a more reasonable 550-600 euro price (like this year's 7800 XT relatively affordable price)

    Not a definitive list by any means, so I wouldn't worry about it. However it's likely that the interpolation tech side may require a beefier GPU. Will be interesting to see when when it is actually released and can be tested.

    Don't forget that Ultra Quality is up-scaling from a much higher base resolution than typical Quality settings used by FSR2. Which is why there is also a 16-20fps difference on-top of a quality boost for the UQ preset for TAAU and XeSS.

    Xess have alot of ghosting around the weapons. Its really bad to the point being unusable. Fsr2 have none.

    I've managed to get TSR to work in Immortals of Aveum via

    AppData\Local\P3\Saved\Config\Windows
    engine.ini
    Code:
    [ConsoleVariables]
    r.AntiAliasingMethod=4
    r.ScreenPercentage.MaxResolution=960
    (Relative r.ScreenPercentage is ignored/overridden, also when configured in GameUserSettings.ini.)
    GameUserSettings.ini
    Code:
    [ScalabilityGroups]
    sg.AntiAliasingQuality=2
    2 = high
    3 = epic
    4 = cinematic

    And it looks much better than FSR 2. Geometry is FAR less jittery and there is FAR less disocclusion aliasing.
    I officially declare FSR 2 sh*t.

    Try checking if these are enabled with FSR2. And if not, if it improves image quality.

    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.ForceLandscapeHISMMobility 1
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.Sharpness 0.5
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.DeDither 1
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.ReactiveMaskForceReactiveMaterialValue 1
    |r.Velocity.EnableLandscapeGrass 1
    |r.Velocity.EnableVertexDeformation 1
    |r.VelocityOutputPass 1
    |r.Velocity.ForceOutput 1
    |r.BasePassForceOutputsVelocity 1
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.ReactiveMaskTranslucencyBias 0.887
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.ReactiveMaskTranslucencyLumaBias 0.6

    Also try these, they might improve TSR:

    |r.TSR.History.SampleCount 32
    |r.TSR.Velocity.WeightClampingSampleCount 8

    I wonder why they didnt include TSR. Every UE5 game should have it.

    I aslo want to see if FSR3 will be better even without frame interpolation.

    Some of the velocity cvars turned the image into a jittery mess, so I took them out.
    I don't notice any improvements with both FSR & TSR with the other cvars set (apart from FSR 2 being oversharpened otherwise).
    My impression is the algorithm is just badly overchallenged with Nanite & RT (including SW-RT) + the notorious disocclusion issues. Even DLSS preset C is starting to have some issues here vs. D (but still miles ahead).

    Remove these:

    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.ReactiveMaskTranslucencyBias 0.887
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.ReactiveMaskTranslucencyLumaBias 0.6
    |r.FidelityFX.FSR2.Sharpness 0.5

    Not inspiring much confidence with FSR 3 when the two launch titles either for Forspoken having the developer studio shut down in March and for Immortals of Aveum developers laying off half the team. They really fumbled not having Starfield; arguably the most anticipated game of the year, being the launch title.

    CDPR and Cyberpunk will probably also support it very soon.

    Starfield was one of the most anticipated games of the year, but it has become one of the biggest disappointments.
    Neither Forspoken, Immortals of Aveum or Starfield are good games to showcase important tech like this.

    Immortals of Aveum supports all the UE5 latest features, nanite, lumen, virtual shadow maps. Its a benchmark not that bad place to start with FSR3 even though game itself is bad.
