Microsoft also has noticed that giving away free games really helps attract users towards your platform. Microsoft Store is offering five free games in one fell swoop: Farming Simulator 14 , Farming ... Free to grab: Five Microsoft Games incl Farming Simulator 14 and 16
Injustice leads to a broken link after choosing add to account and then logging in on the steam website
The link is localised so it doesn't work for all... just go to Steam and search the name of the free game in any case.
Well, effectively a free game is paying you the game key to get you to play it on any specific launcher you can claim it on... more or less, Epic already makes a big deal out of paying people to use their platform
Funny: I either can't get the MS Store games because I run Linux, or, because the only Windows system I have runs on ARM. Oh well, I'm not too interested in the offerings anyway.
generally i don't care where the free game came from, i just get it.. but microsoft store? sorry man, but no.
I see many people around hating the windows 10 store platform (for gaming)... I don't understand this backward hatred towards gaming on the windows 10 store ... maybe once it was immature but now it has improved a lot and there is also the xbox beta app that works very well. what would be the exact reason? is it a political issue? sorry if I seem to be a bit rude but I want understand reasons...
OK, hang on... $80? Epic already bribed us with Farming Simulator 19 in (*checks notes*) January. Haven't touched it. I'm sure it's more advanced. I grabbed 14 and 16 too, anyways.
it is a totally legit question, my problem is with that obsession of microsoft of me singing a MS account on my main pc, like 2 weeks ago i had to sing in on my MS account to check on a really old email account, to recover the account i had to give them so much info! i have never given so much info to any online service. In the end i couldn't recover the account and i just quit trying. Maybe in my next windows installation i can create a new account but i'm not that comfortable with MS mining my data, i use Blackbird but i know MS will find their way into my data anyway.
Wow, those free farming simulators might prove helpful to the citizens of CHAZ/CHOP or whatever it's name is today.
