Btw, some RU parliamentarians offered to forbid the study of foreign languages of "unfriendly" countries.

PS And if nothing changes, I predict they will offer to ban foreign words from "unfriendly" languages and to prosecute for...

Personally, I applaud the French for any effort to preserve their language and culture. And, whenever I have come across an article from some outraged Brit bemoaning how I, and my fellow Colonials, have corrupted English all to hell and back six times over, I generally agree that, yes, we have. I simply cannot disagree.

So, if a true French citizen, residing in the heart of Paris, is deep into a round of Unreal Tournament 2004, is the in-game announcer yelling, "Flack-Monkey!", "Wicked Sick!", and, of course, "Headshot!" in French? What does that sound like?

France, it's Poland that wants to worry about its language. I have three Polish friends at work and non of their kids speak Polish. As a Brit that can get by in Polish, I find it shocking.
