i dunno... i wouldnt put it past em
What it have to do with my post?
If i have a grey screen of the death with a new 5870-5850, or a problem with a Nividia, the first thing i will have done, it's return it, directly.... why will you keep a card who don't work out of the box? even if it can be solve by a bios upgrade or driver who change the power play?
only some cards sold had this problem.... ( peoples with same models, same bios, same brand, have not get this problem.. enough for me for RMA the card, and don't wait a fix with a driver, the card have a problem out of the box, i send it back, point... )
Personally i buy all my several Hardware on a shop, ( a real shop, not internet shop), this include mainboard, CPU's, monitors, GPU's. There's a simple reason, if i have a problem with something, i go back there, exchange it, and go back at home with the new One....
What does having 4 days left in April have to do with them not going to release 10.4?
Catalyst drivers are not issued according to year:month. Explain Catalyst 6.14? No? Okay. Just because this is their 4th driver of the year doesn't mean that it has to arrive in the 4th month of the year.
They are released according to issue:release...
Obviously you haven't used ATI drivers for long ...
Because ATI does release an official (WHQL) driver each month. 10.4 will be released in month-4 of year-10.
This month it is going to be in the 4th week, most likely this wednesday or thursday depending on which side of the ocean you live.
So it's close to the end of the month but don't panic ... it will come.
6.14 as you mentioned is an internal build-number, we are now on 8.74
(as far as leaked drivers are identified)
Might just as well call it 10.5, i'm f'ing tired of waiting too.
Theres 4 days left ffs!!!
Now it's pretty much useless to wait. Unless you still want the WHQL driver.
^^... I don't know how many times I said this was going to be the case!
Some of you people need a lesson in patience.
I dont think people have any patience these days.c1:
Agreed, i find it hilarious me, its 1 set of WHQL drivers every month, been like that for about 10 years now, but still some people havn't grasped it, they have to start threads, days/weeks before the end of the months, screaming for that months drivers, people saying they late, saying they won't be coming, so be the next months ect... ect...
well, I don't think Guru3d, or you guy's have anything left to offer me. take care.
So the 10.4a preview drivers will be newer than the 10.4 WHQLs?
Can't say I'm surprised but what does disappoint me is that despite the addition of separate application profiles for CrossFireX we still only get them once per month. What happened to the regular update thing that was supposed to happen?
- "Hey! We've got HUGE PROFIT selling those 5 series card. Should we consider hiring more professional programmers instead of those 5 poor, tired guys?"
- "What? Hell NO! Who the hell needs high-quality software support? We should get on with DirectX 100500, 100500 billions of transistors, 0.00001 nm tech process and other bull**** nobody wants."
Could you be' anymore sarcastic
Yeah as they have to send the drivers off to get WHQL'd weeks in advance, so the 10.4a's would have been done while the official set was at Microsoft.
At least they dont release them like creative lmao
This is Micro$hit fault. Their f*u*king WHQL bullsh!t thing f*u*ck up everything!!!! At least we have our drivers working.
Most ridiculous statement I've read today (so far). Patience is a virtue.
Amen to that.
My GOd dont even Jinxs us like that hehe
Cant even remember when they last released a new sound card driver
