Kind of a weird version number that implies, to me anyway, that the version we had previously been playing was beta! That said, I am sure the game version displaying on the loading screen is 1.414.xxxxx or something.
The real versions are:- Xbox Series X|S: 1.494.4196.0 PC (Microsoft Store): 1.494.4196.0 Steam: 1.494.4196.0 But yeah they really could have picked a better naming scheme! Because to us old school gamers anything before 1.0 always meant beta so seeing that was funny especially after the rocky launch
As I was watching the beginning of this video, my ears picked up the music in the background. The music is from the R4 Ridge Racer-Type 4 soundtrack. This was the NAMCO Sound Team's greatest music achievement in my opinion. If you're into House and Techno with a Jazzy Soulful flavor, the is indeed the soundtrack. R4 RR Type 4 was released on the PSX back in 1998. This was one of Namco's crowning achievements. I still haven't pulled the trigger on Forza Motorsport. With so many releases my attention needs to focus on one title and clear it. Glad to see the Gurus enjoying this game. It will be in my collection soon.
getting crashes/freezes when in the vehicle upgrade screen. Happened three times now in the past 2 days. Is it the latest Nvidia drivers? Wasn't happening before Everything ran smoothly before
Who even knows. Forza Motorsport has been a crap show on PC since the first release (I mean FM7) . Random issues come and go. Sometimes it takes devs months, even half a year, to fix something for PC. This is just my experience playing FM on PC, where as compared to console everything works perfect there.
No probs here when in the vehicle upgrade menu, everything works fine for me with the latest drivers.
I dropped some of my visual levels from Ultra to High and no crashes yet. Seems stupid seeing I have a monster system with 4090 and 7800X3D and still.......
Just some thoughts The number of tracks are rather limited compared to before. What happened to Nordschleifen? It's a staple for me, an amazing track. Do I have to upgrade my game to get that track? I have the vanilla game that came with the Xbox pass Edit: Its coming out spring 2024
So I boot up the game after the recent update thinking I'll play a bit. DLSS option disappears. Restarted the game DLSS appeared. OK, time to play. After 3 laps textures started blurring, track objects and tarmac disappearing. I lost my lead and came 3rd because it was impossible to race properly. This is happening despite game's settings showing 6000/10000MB VRAM usage. What an absolute shitshow and embarrassment PC version is.
this game is totaly crap after thiese updates i have no improvement in game! i run 4k all ultra 80-100fps and have microslutters every time.change settings medium,hight Ray Tracing on or off microslutters every time!but game for me even once not crashed.I read that many have problems with ctd.only biggest problem that microslutter.
This game is such a random bugfest that I can't believe it actually runs. Feels like it's always barely hanging in lol. Fun game though, really enjoying it.
i hate this game but played 149hrs and play every day i think after 10 updates this game runs with no problems
Keep up that hate bro! If you manage to get up to 599hrs of pure hatred you may actually start to like the game a little!
Lots f low FPS with the latest nVidia drivers Plus WHY can I not drive my Lambo Countach in the class B open race series? I own it, it is classed as class B, but the game selects other class B cars for me. I select the Lambo and nothing really happens
after a lot of races........... this game is the best Racing game i have played in my entire life it is so much Fun!!!!!! but a lot of technical problem Low FPS in some Tracks crash ect... but love this game look at that car
Yeah the cars handle really well but the lack luster performance kinda ruins it while playing on PC for me. I’ve tried all kinds of settings but I just can’t get it running as good as it does on my Series X for some reason
Because PC version is so crap I've been playing this on my Series X instead. Lighting, weather effects and proper 24 day cycle really brings tracks to life. There are still videogamey things like there's barely any water spray when racing in the rain. And those plastic looking cars... they really need to revamp how cars are rendered. Thankfully there aren't any game breaking bugs on Xbox, but there are still many glitches, for example pre and post race cutscenes often have visual glitches and flickering. No wonder PC version is so bad, when they can't even fix Xbox version with only 2 possible hardware configurations. Also, can't believe there isn't a single city or village track? Did I miss something?
