    Not yet..

    ---------

I just tested gpu usage and its still quite low with extra fps left, not sure but it suppose to use 1440p DSR @ 4xmsaa, rest ultra..

At least gpu vram kinda goes in line with gamegpu.ru vram test.. Ok ~ 150MB higher, maybe they used 8xmsaa.

This was night run, 3rd or 4th map..

First off it is not anything like HT. It is a physical second core not a virtual one. Secondly, I do not have the one core per thread option turned on in my BIOS so I think they can all kick in when necessary.

There are also reports in the Forza forums that the game runs poorly or not at all on dual core CPU's. It seems to require at least a quad. There also seem to be a lot of memory management issues for some people.

From what I saw its a module, not a real core it shares its FPU with another "core", AMD Zen will have 8 Real cores with 16Threads total.:nerd:

Anyway I posted cpu usage above, looks like your AMD card has better cpu usage scaling, unlike NV driver that has some threading issues in dx12.

These benchmarks include only MSAAx8? I wonder how that game would run without MSAA

Here is cpu scaling on my 3930k @ 4.2
HT is enabled for 12 threads.
Game is maxed out @ 1080 since I am limited by the stupid game.
    Game is vsync at 75fps.
Its funny seeing my fury x with 0% load at times when its at 75fps.
Lowest FPS I had during racing was 67 in the rain with 12+ cars.

This stopped working. Crashes to desktop shortly after launching the game. EDIT: Works again...

And I noticed a glitch at night map with car headlights and its lightning,

every now and then there is like a split second blackout and then it renders it again. By headlight FOV in the distance appears a solid squared shadow block and then goes away, mostly by new track sections (noticed this in 3rd view), could be some streaming or even nv driver issue?

Yes, this the same night lighting bug I was referring to in my earlier post.

Is forza 6 staying in the background for anyone else? I booted my pc and it's listed in task manager taking up 91MB. It's not even listed in background apps in settings so I don't know wtf it is up to. I haven't launched the game for over 24 hours.

It's normal behaviour for Windows 10 apps, processes are never really completely killed. Helps them to launch faster next time they are opened. Process will be killed if the memory is needed.

Why are you even concerned for 91mb with 32GB of ram?

    Free ram is wasted ram.

It's showing up on every reboot. It's really weird. I wouldn't bother with 200kb but 91MB is pushing it. May be it's because of the xbox app that just got updated.

So what if I have 32gb? This is one game, later on if they manage to have 5 interesting games, I should allow half a gigabyte to be waste on this? Sheesh.

I booted up today and haven't loaded the game. Nothing is showing in processes or details in the Task Manager.

Hopefully it will just fix itself in a few days.

0.1MB on first boot just now, and no updates available in the store for me for the xbox app, so it must have already been updated

Yea I agree, 91MB for a closed app isn't great

I did have to reinstall the game though, this is the 2nd install, I broke the first one trying to gain permissions to add files to it's dir

I think that's just how Windows manages some UWP apps that you use frequently. Windows will certainly free ram and suspend them if needed.

these are the gamertags in the thread so far, feel free to add yours as it can give the game another edge when your chasing someone else's scores and such.
