Welp , it seems Elon Musk wants to run twitter / now called X to the ground since he will start charging a monthly fee for using his platform X . I foresee a disaster for X coming soon , the end is near ...

I don't use it so , it does not affect me personally. I would not pay a single Dollar for it

What are your thought's on this ? Comments and oppinions are welcome. How much would you pay Musk to use his platform $5 , $10 , $20 or more ?

I would not pay a dime for the use of any social media.
And while I use Twitter, it could crash and burn for all I care. It, along with the rest of them, have truly warped society by this point.
I won't go into it any further but you've all seen how it has changed people, kids and adults alike.

He's the genius that sacked over half the staff resulting in security features such as their two factor authentication breaking and TWITTER being less stable than at any point in the last decade.

I didn't use Twitter, even when it was free.
So i would never, ever, pay to use it.

Never used twitter, last time i had social website account was probably back when myspace was thing, I avoid them all like they are the plague, they cause more problems then there worth, the 2 FB account i had were made by my ex's that I never used

 

I have used twitter since it basically began... if I needed to pay the rich guy money to use it I'd basically stop right then and there.

 

Twitter is bleeding, money while financial repayments have to be made.
So Musk really needs extra revenue sources, especially when so many advertisers pulled out from the platform.
"Spam bots" is just the excuse they found.
But in reality, this might just be another nail in the coffin.

 

Not gonna happen, these are just rumors that have blown up beyond reason.

Twitter ( or X whatever ) is primarily a news platform, where various outlets big and small are posting whatever they need to post.
Charging users to read news is not going to fly. Elon might be crazy, but he's not stupid.

 

I am looking forward to him going to Mars...I would be jealous of that, everything else is (mostly) tax payers money from projects that failed.

I stopped using social media many years ago after seeing where it was headed , it's sad to see where our younger generations are going with posting everything they do online and the stupid tiktoks. Instead of going forward and spending their time wisely in constructive things i feel like we are going backwards ( my personal opinion ). Now a days you see everyone completely pegged to their smart phones even in schools , universities , while walking , driving , eating , etc...

 

Less social media is better for us all.
