Ooops, my bad. I haven't been in that thread in a while. Well it does say " *Sign* a new beta driver 169.28 Vista 32 & 64bit "
Downloading now.. be back in a few from testing
Please report back if the Game-specific AA-forcing bug is present or not in these drivers (only for those who really know what I'm talking about).
this version number was around in late dec off some third party site. but these where released today on the NV site. wonder what the difference is ... guess i'll have to give them a try.
Anyone got any news on the AA? I dont really want to install these until I know for sure.
They look good to me.. no issues that I can tell, I'm running AA maxed out in COD4 with no issues, Crysis is playing good etc.
No, he means does AA work when using profiles?
Thanks for the news, people with sli will love this.
I can't be sure, but in both Vista and XP these .28 drivers made my OS feel a bit clunky. Windows would sometimes load sluggishly. Aero was noticeably more jittery, and things just felt odd.
In terms of the games themselves, I don't recall any issues.
I am sticking with 169.21 for XP and 169.25 for Vista for now though.

StreeTunder, your link for Vista 32bit goes to the XP 64-bit driver page
Any news on forced or non globally set AA modes yet?
Please report if you've tried them, thank you.
These drivers are old.
The AA bug is still present. Just tried to force AA in Oblivion and it didn't work. This is very frustrating!
Thanks for reporting that - I thought these were likely to be the same as the ones that have been floating about for a while.
I hope they sort this out soon.
Yes they are definitely the same as the ones released (leaked) in December.
Size and timestamp is the same for each file. I unzipped the files from both sets and checked them against each other.
good to know; I had decided to take a pass since the file sizes matched exactly-nvidia should enclose such info with the release
The Vista drivers of this same version are old. These are XP 169.28 drivers...brand new.
