I'm trying these later, I think. 163.44s are great and the 163.67s were bad so.. lets have a look at these.

I've been told a decent performance increase in Bioshock (single and SLI) and a small increase in 3dmarks, will test out myself at some time this week.

They'll probable have a new driver out on the 25. I'll just wait till then.

Ok I just finished installing 'em, and I configured everything (OC'ed my GPU, set drivers settings to maximum quality, no optimizations, etc) and after testing two times in 3DMark06 I get a definitive 50 to 55 (first run was 50 points and 2nd run was 55 points) higher than I had with the 163.67's, which also gave around the same higher performance compared to the 163.47's.

Overall I think nVidia is doing very well lately with their drivers. The 163.xx series seem to be the best I've ever tried so far since I bought my GTS around three months ago. I'm very happy with the results.

Curiously though, I noticed that my CPU score increased by 33 points this time around, compared to other drivers. Maybe it is pure coincidence but at first glance I'd say that the 163.69's might be reliving some of the bottleneck I get due to my somewhat old CPU (in conjunction with the GTS which let's not hide it likes to run with a recent CPU, like the Conroes, or simply faster AMD models than mine). That's another reason for me to keep them.

    Good job nVidia !

Oh and that's on XP 32-Bit in my case.

Oh great, another new set of drivers :) Testing them out is the only thing that I have time for now (apart studies), which sucks..but still, looking forward to get some more performance out of my old-school card in Vista! Keep up the good work nVidia!

Wow the 64-bit version is over double the size of the 32 bit??? I know the 64-bit version is always bigger than 32. But I dont think the size is usually this big?? 32bit is 30mb, 64bit is 68mb???

Hm strange never experienced that kind of issue, maybe there is a conflict on older gpus, when it comes to rendering unreal3 based games.

These set worked/installed fine, haven't tested in games yet.

Just tried MoH:Airborne under Vista 32bit and they seem no different to previous 163.67, at least I can't tell any difference.

Still have difficulty shooting someone at point blank range and killing them though, most just run off or smack me back, something wrong with AI methinks!
