Comparing these to my old 84.43 set:

    +
    3dMark06 score is higher
Alt-tab is now 100% stable and working
Works fine with Q4 for me

    -
    Games are a bit slower
    NWN fog bug remains
SLI pop up was annoying (fixed with registry tweak)
Image preview in control panel doesn't seem to work (changes have no effect).

Really undecided whether to keep these - I need every frame I can get in Oblivion, but alt-tab stability is really useful for development work.

Kalniel, do you notice anything about the supposed "improved mouse performance in oblivion" implemented in these drivers? (91.31)

I just ditched this rotten pile of crap. It BSODed on video clip. On VIDEO CLIP!? Omg. I don't need such garbage on my rig. Back to proven 84.66 beta.
For beta it's working far better than any so called WHQL crap.

No, it actually seems a little bit worse than before. Maybe it's smoother, but less reactive.

However, I had set frames to render ahead to 1 with my old drivers, and presumably it's back to default with the new ones. So conceivably the mouse performance is improved over the default settings for older drivers, but it's not quite as good as it was with the older drivers + tweaked render ahead option.

hard to say. i always use the driver's default settings in which AA and/or AF are set to 'application controlled' so there is no AA forcing and all 91.xx drivers have the problem on my pc.

now i dont know how about other java apps because i only use azureus.

Oh right. Dunno then. I also only use Azureus, and setting the game profiles back to default sorted it out. I later found out that it was trying to turn on AA for javaw.exe, and that's what was causing it.

Having said that I've not had a problem with Az since 87.something so it's probably something else :/

LOL! Thanks guys, i always read the lastest thread to see what drivers everyone is going back to :p Seems 84.** is a good place to be so all i got to decide is whether to go for 84.21 or 84.56

I'm currently running these WHQL'd drivers with reservations as the beta version of the 91.33 seemed to damage my last monitor as the contrast setting was all corrupted.

Fortunately I got a replacement from the manufacturer, Iiyama, straight away (it was a swap) but despite the drivers being totally stable for games and Windows, I was a bit nervous about them damaging my new monitor again so I've renamed the four Direct Display Access drivers, the Nv...ccs.dll ones, in the System32 folder to Nv...ccs.dlx just to be safe.

Do these drivers support memory speeds in excess of 800 in the overclocking section?

The 84.21's I'm using right now don't and I want to raise the memory speed to 900 (Graphics card can handle it).

    Thanks!

Also, anyone know how I can modify the clocks by a single value?

I second that, 84.21 is very good, even better than official 91.31
