I was able to watch the X3 trailer from the Apple site in Quicktime @ 1080p without any problems.

Looks like a sweet movie btw.

Haven't had a chance to install yet, but I've been told that profiles do not work. Any feedback there? At least, until I can get them on my computer.

I got a really nice boost in F.E.A.R with these compared to 83.91. Using the in-game benchmark I went 54fps average to 63. Max framerate went from 124 to 163. Test was done using 1024x768 2xAA multisampling, 4xAF, everything on max except soft shadows.

I've installed the 84.21 drivers on my PC and i dind't get a warning about non whql drivers, dxdiag says they are whql logo'd so... these where installed on an asus en7800gtx

haven't run 3dmark on them or tested them in any games yet though so can't add much more than that.

Well, I was using older drivers (81.89) but anyway, in Fear's test I went from:
    81.89
    Min 31
    AVG 56
    Max 115
    84.21
    Min 41
    AVG 65
    Max 145

    Excellent!

you have to download the purevideo trial from nvidia's webpage and play DVD or HD content...

I think I will wait for someone to confirm that this one is as fast and smooth as the 84.20 and just as reliable too, before I reinstall drivers... :)

i'm switching from 84.20, because i'm having some lockups in windows, like the mouse freeze for 5 seconds and then back on, it happens frequently :S hopefully these will fix it ( xfx6800gt )
