Hmmm I also gave up waiting for the 84.15, installed these 84.20's on my 6800GT and they run smooth as butter in CoD2, really really nice. I thought the 83.90's were good till I tried these! :)

How is cs source and day of defeat with these drivers for you that have dual core CPU's? do they still crash?

30-50 fps is horrible. Thats like playing with 150 ping all the time. Dude just comprimise and turn down a detail or two (doesnt have to be the LOWEST).
125fps+ is the sweet spot. Also, why 1680 res??? Thats a bit overkill isnt it? Everything will be too small for me.

Try out the XG 84.12 or the XG 84.20's. They do circles around the Z tweaked 84.12 and any stock beta. I garantee you will change your tune if you try them out.

Always worried about new drivers giving performance increases. Sure they haven´t mixed with the image quality? nVidia is notorious for being focused more on performance then image quality...

I actually noticed an increase in IQ. It's very easy to spot in BF2 on very bright maps. On 83.90, some ground textures (mostly those far away from your character) seemed a bit washed out (even with 16xAF and texture quality set to High Quality), but on 84.20 they look much sharper.

Yeah. Im using XG84.20 and they are the best drivers i haver had...
The IQ is amazing and the performance too...Never had a set like this...
For the one who asked about CS:S and Dual Core...no problems here ;)
For those who play BF2 and have "beast" graphic cards...there is and hidden Ultra Quality mode...
    Go to My Documents-->Battlefield 2-->Profiles-->Your Profile-->open Video.con with notepad.
Then change everything that is at 3 to 4...you will notice the diference.
    The diferences are huge....

Ps: In some people when they try to enter video options in BF2 the game crash, others si Quality_Ultra_High ou something like that...
But you dont have to go to video options, the game runs perfect fine...

Gotta utilize the screen size. Doesn't really matter since my screens refresh is 60hz. You don't know how it feels to be play at that resolution. You can see... everything.
Anyway... can someone comfirm that FEAR is a POS quality wise? I'm talking about horrible moire at times and AF is just nasty on certain textures.

Going to look into this I think. Seems odd that we all notice it just as our FEAR performance increases so much...

I haven't seen those problems with FEAR. Except for the levels being a little repetitive, and occasional slow frame rates it looks great.

There is a bug with the Anti-Aliasing in Guild Wars with these drivers. Whether you have it at 4xAA or any other, on screen it's at 0xAA.

Woops...this bug is for the 84.12 not this =)
