    Well, I noticed a 4 degree temp increase. Great IQ, though. CoD2-44-68 fps, all high or maxed. BF2 65-90 fps, all on high/textures on med. FEAR avg. 65 fps, all high or maxed. All this on 1024x768. not bad. I will keep for now.

    Great! Drivers that suck for 7 series cards are usually good for 6 series, will give these a try!

    what do u mean wont work in games I haven't had any issues playing games with this set of drivers matter of fact CS:source,COD 2,Soldier Of Fortune2 online,Quake 4,BF2 and FarCry have all run without any problems and I definately noticed the IQ looks better that the previous 84.12 set I had, I just have to run some benchmarks now

    Fear Is set to one cpu with this driver. Now its starts up with an affinity for cpu1. Anyone notice this?

    Nope, i'm still running it with both cores, but check this out:
    Using the 83.91's:
    28 min
    64 avg
    197 max

    Now with these new drivers:
    34 min
    74 avg
    205 max

    Wow... Computer is set to high, and graphics set to custom because i set AAx2 and AFx8, soft shadows off, enable shadows to on, other stuff to max, except Vol Light Density (med).
    From the control panel i'm running at HQ.

    Billabong, have you ever bothered to try moded drivers? Or just bone stock betas? Some drivers mod better with more head room to tweak then others, and will show different results in 3dmark and aqua.

    Hi

    here's my benches:
    3dmark05 free trial
    83.90 = 8370
    84.20 = 8448

    3dmark06 free trial
    83.90 = 4666
    84.20 = 4721

    The only problem with my benches is that I changed my bios overclock settings from Auto Overclock to AI NOS 5%. The 84.20 results are with AI NOS %5.
    For comparrison, I ran 3dmark06 before and after switching to AI NOS 5%:
    before = 4667
    after = 4721
    That probably means these drivers aren't much faster than the 83.90 and the speed bump is from my AI NOS. Well at least I made my score higher.

    Yeah some scenes/stages look way better than others. You can tell it was rushed to shelves.

    You are using Driver Cleaner Pro in safe mode between driver changes, yes?

    I don't know about you guys but performance has increased in more than just Fear with AA enabled on my system. As you can see I have a 6600gt which means I shouldn't be using AA at anything above 1024x768 but lo and behold sirs I am.:)
