These work great for me... Better than 82.12's. Better 3dmark05 and 06 for me.

Hey guys, I dont know whats happened to my PC since installing these drivers but all my video clips / movies etc will not playback using Media Player or Winamp..

They all worked just fine before I updated the FX drivers.
I used Driver Cleaner Pro as always, installed the new 83.90 drivers and thats when the problem start.

Going back to the older drivers I had before has not helped. I even removed and reinstalled ALL the drivers for my PC, reinstalled MP10 / Winamp / DivX Codec and all the other utilities I normaly use for music and video.
    Still nothing works.

Divx files will playback using the DivX Player that comes with the DivX installer, however the sound is about 5 seconds ahead of the video.
WMV files will playback in Winamp, but not MP10 or DivX Player.

    Anyone have any ideas ?

If you have firewall problems click the URL at the top of the page in the address window so it is highlighted then copy and paste it to the privacy/sitelist section of your firewall. If you don't have such a feature in your firewall try pasting it in the allow cookies or privacy section of your browser which you should find in options

so is it better for performance to keep my refresh rate at 144hz rather than 85hz??

In my experience (according to benchmarks), higher refresh rates lead to slightly lower frame rates.

    I didn't mean that :) AV=AntiVirus ;)

Agree, TMN runs great with these drivers.

Alright, you might want to use another AV then, because its a very weird problem... I have no problems with NOD32.

These drivers are the first set to work correctly with my POV 6800 GS AGP and have eliminated the mouse pointer freeze that has plagued me since installation of the card last week.

    One happy guy :)

This driver FIXES the 6800GS flashing/flickering problem, it awesome, I can overclock (415/1.13Ghz) and no more flashing/flickering in COD2 and FEAR

It's been bothering me ever since but at last it's fixed

    THANK YOU NVIDIA
