    Yeah trust me i always remove the drivers from the software list, then reboot in safe mode, then let Drivercleaner clean up the pieces that are still left.

    I dont know what happened with these drivers. I was about to start Quake 4 and i almost freaked out completely from what i saw. Artifacts!!! OMG!! I thought well ok there goes my $500 card. Fortunately COD2 and NFSMW as well as 3dmark ran fine, so i thought it was maybe OpenGL rlated or something because Quake 4 is an OpenGL based game.

    I switched back to 81.98 and all is normal. Ok, i lost maybe 50 to 100 points in 3dmark but eeey i dont play bechmarks:rolleyes:

    Well never used the cleaner here. Got 3 computers and never had a problem.

    these run smooth and the IQ appears to be a bit better than the 81.98 drivers, but not good enough to sell me on them. i'll just wait for the next official release.

    I got 4628 with 82.65 and 4857 with 83.40 on 3dmark 06. I'll keep these.

    I just tried these out, and I have to say I'm fairly impressed. I havent benchmarked them yet, as I dont think they're gonna fair too well.

    I started a 3d Mark '06 bench (at my usual 605, 1195 clocks) and got artifacts in during the first test. Obviously I stopped it. I havent experienced artifacts with those clocks with any driver previously.

    Anyone else noticed lower OC with these drivers?

    Was using 82.12 before these, and loved those.

    IQ and perfromance seem comparable with these for me, was playing a few hours of BF2, and all was well. Using my usual 2xQ and max (in game) filtering.

    You might need to add this:

    NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0322.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200"

    Nice drivers , ran fine in battlefield 2 gained a 60 point increase in 3dmark03
    and this was from an overly tweaked Ztweaker driver. Im keeping these
    thus far

    This driver seemed good, NFSMW, FIFA06 and FEAR ran quite OK. But then I started a little Flatout, and got the bsod, mumbling something about the nv_disp or somethin'. So back to an older version form me.

    LE It seems (although I'm not quite sure) that the BSOD was caused by the game - the latest patch should fix it. It would be great to be this way, 'cause the driver presented itself quite well besides this. If anyone interested, I will post the results

    Yes. That is what you are looking for. You should be able to install with the setup.exe after that.

    I uninstalled the 81.95, ran the nfr scan twice rebooted my copmputer and attempted to install the 83.40. no go. any suggestions?:frown:

    WOW! I can overclock the core of my 6200 NV44 with these drivers! And I don't have any stability problems when overclocking unlike the 81.33 and the 76.44.

    I installed these and had computer lock up a couple times on Halo and videos, so back to 82.65 for me.

    IQ is great on these. It feels like AA is sampled much smoother than the previous 82.12.

    Its because the ID for the 4200 was was left off the INF. Just add this line to the INF and you should be OK:

    NVIDIA_NV25.DEV_0253.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200"

    Can anyone confirm that these drivers fix the bugs for the following games:

    KOTOR
    FS2004 8x AF
    MS Rallisport challenge
    Neverwinter Nights
    Quake 4 SMP

    Thanks!
