dam BF2 buggies came again.... >_<
Damn, just changed from ngo 81.95 to ngo 82.12 and new ones! benchies for 3dmark05, quake 4, bf2, neone?
No, they are being downloading via an FTP server, just do a netstat -n in the Windows command prompt and you'll see that liveupdate.leadtek.com.tw connects to ports 20 and 21.
The reason why the CRC errors exist is because WinFox didn't download the entire file. It took me a few tries to obtain the file error-free, but I have it.
Haven't tried BF2 or FEAR yet but these are stinking fast in 3DMark05:
Uhh i know i should be puttin this in benchmarks or something but what is the point in benchmarking other than viewing performance changes and bragging rights? is there one? I dont know if i should try it because say i get a lower score than i should, dang now all i got is knowing theres something wrong and i cant do anything about it. or can i?
and BTW can someone plz test these In COD 2....man i want performance upgrades in this lol.
Both of u r right, folks 7800 GT/GTX will be looking for quality since they dun have to worry bout framerates in games.
where else folks with Geforce 5 or 6 series will be looking for performance since they could be lagging behind in some of the latest games
As a 6800GT owner, I'm looking for better framerate. I had tried 8195, 8198 and 8212 and I can't decide whcih one is faster driver for 6800GT (This is becoz benchmark scores are always different each and everytime! :frown:
So, any very satisfied 6800GT owner here and what is your advice? I'm currently using 82.12!
Couldn't agree more!! :flip2:
personnaly i'm ok ! we're here to test beta drivers or whql by playing. if you see bugs like squares on your screen ok, say it to nvidia.
but searching one more frame is useless... cause invisible to human eye.
* always nobody for an available leadtek winfast 83.10 link ?*
I don't get any graphic issues with any 8xxx drivers, so my priority is Performance. By playing game, I "feel" that 8212 gives me the fsatest ans most stable framrate. I will just stick to 8212. Having say that, 8195 and 8198 indeed give better IQ in game but I don't "feel" that fast and that stable than 8212.
I'm happy to use 8212 for now! Cheers!
Same here. Had to remove them. This is the first time a driver did the flicker dance for me...
I found another link, without the Leadtek installation BS.
Here it is:
if u play BF2 don't install them....
O gosh i feel like a noob but this is really bugging me. Wtf is IQ? lol
(other than mental capabilities lol)
People with the Battlefield 2 issues, can you try turning off anti-aliasing to see whether that sorts out the flickering. Also what res are you running because the flickering only seems to happen for me at native res of 1920 x 1200 which is annoying.
If you want to fix the flickering issue, all you have to do is press the Windows Key + D to minimize all windows and then get back into the game. I tried this with San Andreas, which I had an issue with because I have a forced AA set in the NVIDIA control panel.
think I'm gonna pass here, 82.12 are working mighty well.
these seen to run pritty well with my system so thumbs up .
and no i dont bentch as game play is more important to me.
