I broke my record for longest piss today....stood in the hallway and got 98% of it in the toilet. Previous record was the doorway.

240aintenuff is now on a 3-day ban. The next guy/girl that goes off-topic, troll,or flame will face the same.

Guys/Gals .. I have a clear vision for these forums, inform each other regarding the drivers IQ, performance, learn, teach and most of all help each other out. Going offtopic, flaming, calling people noobs .. that's so not what I want to see in here. This is not a kids playground, these are quality discussion forums !

If you can't respect that then you do not have a place in these forums, if you disagree then please leave, if you don't .. we'll make that choice for you.

Thank you. Yet don't say you have not been warned afterwards !

    ok, so far
Games run nicely, 3Dmark benched smoothly, up 10 points.. up 200 points when overclocked to ponr

Halo looked smooth,.. the bad shader quality is fixed

NFSU still runs smooth,.. i guess thats still coz of more ram.

    NWN looked good

overall.. i think these drivers are the best currently for FX users

decent IQ in BF2, otherwise haven't had a chance to play much

nice bump in 3DMark05, 81.98 are fastest yet on 7800 GT

    3DMark05: 550/1389mhz

    81.95.v2 = 9076
    81.95 whql= 9084
    81.98 whql= 9143

now time to try 82.12s :)

    I rolled back.....

I was able to play a couple of games... exit...

After restarting those games, my system hard locked every time....

Anyway, no change whatsoever regarding the "opengl" bug... No mention of it in its release notes so I don't know who started the rumor that opengl performance should be fixed in this release.

Not even sure nVIDIA is aware of any of the problems...

So again a bogus driver added to the list...

81.85 is the best of the rest... or the best of the worst.

it was me.. and i mentioned it coz it directly says the dual core and corel bug was fixed which is related to dual core and opengl

also viewperf is a opengl performance applicatin.. this set fixes that which is also a affected by the dual core + opengl bug

    Here here!!!

I must say, I had just installed these, never even benched them and moved onto the 82.12s. But from what I've heard they are similar in performance and IQ, with the exception of a couple of bug fixes

okay, maybe I missed it in the release notes then.

Anyway, I was going to try out those drivers some more but when it starts hardlocking my system it is time to roll-back. So I didn't really have a very good chance of thorougly testing those drivers.

Maybe I'll give it another spin this weekend.

That should be done for every set anyway.

Have you installed the dual core hotfix and enabled support via the registry?
