    DA2 , previous driver (267.59) dx11 SSAO Very High 4xAA , blur dof off. 23 24 fps.
Same spot same settings new driver , 26 27.

High settings, 37fps old driver same spot. New driver 39-40. Not good for 400 series or lets say at least 460. Not the DA2 demo. i will try other places and save points later today.

Nah Darren, this is a new phenomenon as far as Nvidia is concerned. Their SLI support was top notch until around Xmas 2010 (we never used to wait more than a day or two).

Now it is an absolute piss take. Still no TDU2 profile (and these drivers are plainly awful for TDU2 even if I turn one of my cards off), no Shift 2 etc etc

Nvidia has seriously dropped the ball lately.

When it comes to Kepler, I will likely avoid multi GPU completely and spend money on more SSD space etc.

Crysis 2 is a LOT smoother! Not that it wasn't before, but my average and minimum FPS is higher. I now stay more frequently above 40+ than previous drivers. Hardcore settings, VSYNC and triple buffering forced from D3D Overrider.

Tuning in with a quick test - these drivers have not fixed the bad stuttering in WRC 2010 (I know next to no-one plays that, but perhaps there are a few racing afficionados around). Very disappointing to say the least, my old GTS250 handled the game perfectly @ max, noAA, but Fermi stutters AA on/off, v-sync on-off. Win7 64 bit, Win XP 32 bit tested. Pre-rendered frames setting and Threaded optimization forced on/off - no difference.

Any game made by Milestone will probably behave the same, because they use the same core engine and the problem is also present in SBK X, SBK 09 etc.

    At least I can play console-crysis-2! :D

Ok question.. what is Nvidia Update that it's trying to install? It's Version is 1.1.33 considering it shows none installed from my last driver install.

Also says its trying to install a 3D vision Controller Driver?? I'm going to uncheck both of these cause I have no interest in Nvidia telling me when I need to update nor do I have much to do with 3D.

Heaven jump from 532 score to 687 (fps from 21.2 to 26.9, ran 3 times) after installing these drivers (used 267.48 previously)
Crysis2, Dragon age II run allot smoother now, so i guess i'll stick with these for the time being :p

Its what it says really, they will tell you when a new driver is out, apparently you can set it to check for beta drivers and as often as every hour according to bits i read. I declined to install it.

This game coding is really bad. The only way I had it smooth was with vsync=on and aa=off.
Any other setting caused huge stuttering.

I did some actual Black Ops games and was super impressed. It's like these new drivers 'handle load" better than other. Crysis 2 actual game was the same way.

Heaven 2.5 benchmark the green things are gone now when ambient occlusion is on. Even in Heaven 2.5 benchmark you can tell the these drivers "handle load" better.

    It's like driving a Cadillac.

The NVidia Update thing is painless and harmless. I had it running in my tray the whole time I was using the 270.32's and I never saw it do anything and it never interferred with anything and each time I did a manual check for an update it never found one. I just decided to let it keep running there.

    really??

thank you for your "wise suggestion" :3eyes:

    FYI its something in r270 branch, its fine with any r265 (265.90, 267.17, 267.66,..) or r267 (267.59, 267.60, 256.85, 267.91)

as soon as i install these r270 (270.32, 270.28, 270.51) i get this out of focus blurring corruption in RE5 (dx10) and in Lostplanet2 (dx9) there are some black "artifacting" polygons on characters and surroundings when they start shooting.

Reinstalling Os because of that, lol yea right.:nerd:

Good for your Fermi but they dont work for G92 as Nv thinks. Do you understand better now?

i'm no longer able to set my resolution to 1080p @ 23/24hz even though i'm given the option to. it knocks me down to 800x600 @ 60 hz

I installed these and played Dragon Age II for about 15 minutes. There's a definite improvement in these over the 267.91 drivers, not only in terms of performance but also the 8xAA mass-of-black-pixels bug appears to have been fixed. Playing at 8xAA on DX11 Very High with SSAO, etc., enabled gives me around 40-45 fps where I was getting 35-40 fps with just 4xAA previously. The game certainly feels smoother. Good stuff!

Figured I would try these out since I don't usually touch beta's. These run very sweet with DA2, before on the last WHQL drivers I couldn't play it on max because of fmv stuttering and game was a bit crap to play, but now it runs pretty great on max now.

Crysis 2 seems to run a lot smoother aswell on max.

I can't get my card to clock up with these. gets stuck at 405 mhz etc. I'm pissed cause these are supposed to be better for DA2 and I cant use them >.>
