Thanks for the heads up, dudikaz.

I hope these drivers are a little better than the two 270 betas I tried which had issues with Heaven v2.5.

    Downloading now...

The release notes for these drivers make some outrageous claims for Dragon Age II!

Vs. the v266.58 WHQL drivers, NVIDIA claim a 300%+ increase in performance for DA2 for single GTX 580 cards and over 500% for SLI. We shall see! :3eyes:

P.S. I can't verify whether these are for ALL cards yet but the signs are not good as they only show up from the pulldowns if I select GTX 590 and not when I select the GTX 580.

I'm currently at work so I'm unable to download them yet (seems the work internet is playing up sadly).

Yup, from this page here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us the drivers only show up if you select GTX 590, 560 Ti or 550 Ti. Seems a bit stupid that other cards are not supported when they're mentioned in the release notes! Has anyone downloaded them yet to check if all cards are contained in the INF? They are betas after all.

That's good to know, steve-. Strange how they don't show though if you select GTX 580 from the pulldown on the NVIDIA website but only for the cards that show as added support in the release notes (590, 560 + 550).

Maybe it hasn't been fully updated yet?

    *Edit*
They're now showing, although the International/UK English ones aren't as yet.

Found the UK English/International driver for Win7 64-bit here: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7-winvista-64bit-270.51-beta-driver-uk.html

It's obviously bigger than the US one, 165 MB vs. 135 MB.

I'm attempting to download them now to take home on a memory stick but I'd be interested to know if the Heaven v2.5 issues have been fixed or not. Games are obviously more important but they was some weird thing going on with ambient occlusion + AA in the 270.32 alpha drivers I tried a few weeks back. Would be nice to know that is fixed.

Let us know how the 400% improvement shows! How do they even measure that?
