No, but, you could use it for physx. You might be able to combine the 2 cards using Hydra when it becomes available. It would still only run upto dx10 though.

Same here and I also tried hibernate and sleep mode several times, no problems. Nevertheless I reverted back to 196.34.

Does this affect all users or just those who use some 3rd party fan control program like RivaTuner or EVGA Precision? Because it maybe that the fan control program reads its data from registry and there's some mismatch between the driver values/registry values and actual values.

These are fantastic drivers for BFBC2. IQ is outstanding and game play is very smooth. I spent the weekend testing a slew of whql and beta drivers and these are by far the best for my system - at least for BFBC2

I've had no problems with movies but I don't use sleep mode so can't comment on that. I always use evga tool to control fan speed (set at 60%) and card temp never gets above 65c.

    Same.
The 196.75 set worked wonderfully with BF:BC2, giving me extremely smooth performance. I've noticed the game is much choppier since rolling back to an older set.

True I'm waiting for them to fix the drivers so I can play BFBC2 again

I have a VX2835wm Viewsonice 28" monitor and installed the latest nVidia drivers then rebooted. The resulting screen was extended beyond my monitors borders on the screen. The native resolution of my monitor is 1920x1200. I can't see the desktop icons on the left hand corner nor can I see the the taskbar. The picture becomes sort of distorted (blurry text, not sharp colors, etc) Tried inistalling/reinstalling, rebooted, no difference. When I uninstall the nvidia drivers
and revert back to the normal Windows XP Pro drivers everything fits on the screen and is clear / sharp again but no forceware.

It seems that idle/load temps are about 10-15C higher with these drivers than on 196.34.

I didn't notice any different temperatures so far. The drivers still work great, much better than previous versions. I'm going to keep them until they come up with a new set.

i am experiencing the same thing, the difference for me is bigger at idle though, approx +10C, under load approx +5.

After reboot idle temps stabilize to certain value. However the odd thing is that if sleep is used and switched back on straight away idle temps show 10-15C rise as I previously mentioned. Also load temps are shown to be higher.

Is there any mention by NVIDIA as to fixing the fan speed delay/problem while coming out of hibernate/sleep or playing 3D games? I wasn't able to see any notes or updates on their site.

Nope. They simply took the driver off of their website and recommend using the 196.21 WHQL driver instead.

The word I got from ManuelG at Nvidia Tech support was they know what the issue is and will be issuing a new driver. They did not say when.
