Just spotted the 187.66 X64 drivers over at laptop video

    http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/25467-v18766-windows-7vista-64bit-fujitsu-siemens/

Alternate download with modded inf included http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F5N2DZ6D

Giving them a try right now, but getting some local links at Guru would help spread the word

    Testing right now

    EDIT1: One word, FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC

For some reason colors are -WAY- more vivid with this driver, I dunno if its just because laptops screens have washed out colors or something but WOW

Batman showed -NO- errors even with a heavy physx area, before in the past on high settings I would get errors with batman and the geometry would crash, hasen't done it once with these drivers yet

Red Faction is -FAST- with this, before I would get 45+FPS with all options on max, now I am pegging 65+ with these drivers and the same settings, and thats even when I am bashing apart buildings

    UT3 showed a 10FPS jump

Bioshock no screwed up geometry like I was getting with the 191 series

    L4D showed no jump

    TF2 showed a 5FPS jump

    KEEPERS FOR ME!!!

    Hi guys.
I have a question. Sorry if I am clear due to my English.
What is the difference between 18x.xx series of drivers and 19x.xx series. There must be something. Logically for me this set should be something like 191.xx since the latest driver was 191.56. But no. It is continue of 18x.xx series. I think the last one was 186.91.
Can someone say what and why it is. Nvidia still has two different series.

No performance / adapative mode in the 18x's but they are in the 19x's

190x's are **** so far anyway , going by my experience and many others. Though you do get people with no problems

These have 3d profiles for Borderlands and Colonial Marines!

Nice drivers , just did 3dmark 06 and the screen was stretched/scaled across whereas all previous 186 it was just in the middle. Gained 200 points too

EDIT : Battlefield 2 is supersmooth , no texture/lag problems unlike all the 190's/191's

I'll have to give these a try, do 2D/3D clock speed changes work alright on these? I finally got that working fine on the v191.07 drivers, would hate to break that again. lol

It has to be related to the adaptive power profiling :|

    On my first test....

Power mode dropped right back down to 2D mode after exiting Fallout 3. This is the only thing I've tried as I just got the drivers installed but it seems to function on my EVGA GTX 275 at least.

I'm seeing some nice overall speed improvements as well. Sacred 2 seems to run as well as the 19x.xx series had it running. I've run Fallout 3 (no problems), 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 2006 also and each time I quit out my GPU downclocks properly to 2D speeds. I'm thinking these are keepers (at least until another set of 18x.xx sneaks out).

They work better for me then the 191.07/.56 on my 9600gt on win7. Tested the last remnant, prototype, rainbow six vegas 2, need for speed shift, burnout paradise, resident evil 5, dungeon and dragons online, aion online. They all get around the same if not alittle better fps without any issues i was having before with crashing and recovering. As for rivatuner i wouldn't know i use evga precision 1.8.1 and it works fine with these.
