I had a hunch that you were, but still couldn't resist :)

Anyway, on topic: I'm installing FarCry 2 tonight, and will bench with my current drivers (178.13) before installing 180.48. I'll try to throw in some Fallout 3, Dead Space and other games too if I find the time for it.

Does the multi-monitor SLI work for you guys? It isn't working for me like with the previous betas :thumbdown As soon as I enable SLI, the multi-monitor settings disappear in the control panel. Damn...

Bugger. I just installed them and am about to have a round of PR myself.

    I'll check out the AA...

Sorry to be OT on my first post, I just thought I'd add my voice to the group of 9800GX2 owners that feel ignored by Nvidia. I bought mine before the GTX280 was available, most expensive card I've ever bought. After the guru3d performance charts for Farcry2 I replaced it with a GXT280. My rig has never been more stable since swapping. I will never consider SLI ever again, and if Nvidia don't start showing support for a high end card that is less than 9 months old, I'll never buy an nvidia card again. The GX2 was unstable, had wildly fluctuating frame rates, and now the support has dropped. I implore you good people to not buy a dual GPU soloution. Rant over.

I've just read that 8800 series aren't going to be supported in SLi on X58 mobo's.... that's just retarded.... seriously...

Of course I don't know what exactly caused the problem,
but yes I uninstalled drivers, also used Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode.
    Uninstalled also RivaTuner 2.11 completely.

Then installed 180.48 drivers and RivaTuner 2.11.
I noticed that "Fan" option was missing and after reboot computer freezed.
Display was full of stranges lines and I needed to hold down "On-Off" to turn off comp.

Now I did new clean install with 180.48 drivers and RivaTuner v2.20.

Everything is fine now, Thanks !

So much for 10% performance increase in Crysis Warhead... More like 0.1% ¬_¬" :biggun:

3DMarkVantage is better though. Thanks nVidia. I don't know what I would do without some extra vantage 3dmarks.

I prefer RivaTuner over EVGA Precision Tool, gives me so much more control.

Installed RT2.20 few hours ago, driver level fan control is back again - but why use TWO apps, when all you need to do was change to low-level control ?

They did NOT fix the LOTRO shadow issue, it's all messy full of little blocks instead of seamless nice edged shadows. =/
I don't remember seeing this problem with 180.44 and .43

    o rly?

    can u read?

Boosts performance in numerous 3D applications. The following are some examples of improvements measured with Release 180 WHQL drivers vs. Release 178 WHQL drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings
