Its already been said, that RivaTuner Works with these drivers and you are able to change your fan speed within !!RivaTuner!!

I broke 7k vantage barrier!!!!!!!!!!! YAY \o\

p6772 to p7112 gained 340 Points.
This is 1.40 fps more on first test and 0.60~ on second
Cpu gained a little (error margin?) and physx went from 104.5 to 105.9

(I was going to say that this driver were worse than 178.15, but I forgot to restart)
Don't know about fan control working or not, my card never had it (****ing xfx always on cooler) Didn't touch DV, but looks like working

 

What .inf did you use? i can't install the drivers with all the .infs around here it still says that the system isn't updated maybe 3 SLi isn't supported yet..

And im sure it will be working fine for g80 users too later on

 

I am using the the one from the first page.
The drivers are good DV works,no fan control with precision tool but works with riva tuner.
IQ is very good with these.

 

Hi, i stick with 178.24, i get artifact with 180.10 in Tomb Raider Legend in Next Generation.

 

got them installed on my GX2 and i lost physx support. its says that i have it enabled but it definitely isnt. GPU score in vantage dropped too no fan control as others with precision too. rivatuner fan control does work

 

I used roguesnipers from the first post. Try running driver cleaner maybe, I ran it anyway just to see it if it would fix any of the issues I was having. No dice. I rolled back.

 

Compared to 178.24 official driver, and the two before that..........

I cannot figure this out.

I have tried most links for Vista 64 and either the driver says that it will not work for my 8800 or if I try the modded ones there is no download there. It will be either 8kb in size or a broken url.

Which is the link that has a Vista 64 for an 8800 GTS?

Sorry but I couldn't resist. Anyways these are pretty good drivers, everything seems to be working fine and fast (except the lack of fan monitoring and controlling is a downer, they might have changed something).

So far so good with these drivers - yet to try 3D apps but they've installed fine and I have both my screens running with SLI enabled and the physx enabled in the nvidia control panel - best of all I havnt restarted the PC yet even though it asked me to...

I'm pretty sure that the restart is only to integrate certain aspects of the control panel into the windows menus etc.

Also the control panel also informed me that you have to plug both screens into the same card for SLI / Multimonitor to work - I guess that means that this is only a dual screen implementation of multimonitor and that SLI + 3 or 4 displays is not gonna happen yet. Big Bang III anyone ???

Replugging screens used to require a restart which doesn't seem to be the case with these drivers I just switched the second screen back onto the primary card and it picked it straight up.

Right off to go test some games - will report back with any issues.
