Yea, basically the graphics driver has to be a CUDA driver, then the PhysX Driver has to be updated with G80 support. 177.79 is a CUDA driver, maybe they will release G80 support in the PhysX driver tomorrow.

Wow, there is someone else on these forums who plays COH! I've had a problem with the game the last few 177.xx releases, where the game locks up when you exit. I haven't tried it yet using 177.79. Guess I'll stick to playing with it under Windows XP.

    :bang:

Yea, 177.79 royally screw up my COH, I don't play much anymore but it is quite annoying.

Yeah, 177.79s do something bad to City of Heroes (not Company of Heroes) under Vista. You have to play at VERY low resolution (like 800x600) to even get it to fit on the screen right and even then it's scrunched a bit - enough so that your mouse click registers well above where you seem to be clicking.

City of Heroes crashing when you exit is very common if you try to use ALchemy to get the 3D sound working under Vista.

BTW, City of Heroes has been using Agiea (sp?) physics for years. If we're reaaaaallly lucky, we might just get to use our graphics cards for even more physics.....

No rumour, just install these drivers and download and install the PhysX_8.07.18_SystemSoftware from Nvidia.

    -Thread posted about PhysX_8.07.18_SystemSoftware now.

NVRotate is broken on my 8600 GTS. Rotation just causes the screen to flash and the NVIDA Control Panel reverts back to no rotation mode automatically.
