Any actual improvements with this driver?

After all the 173.xx and 174.xx betas I finally settled for 174.31, no problems in Crysis or TDU and a better score in 3dMark06.

These are the same drivers they upped on the 18th when the GX2 was released, they've just added Quad SLi Support to them. :)

not happening for a loonnnngg time... nvidia only puts resources into their newest GPU series. 8 series is yesterdays news to nvidia. they won't touch it again unless there is a serious compatability issue with current apps.

well thank god for this forum and the people in it... without you guys id still be running 169.25!

wtf, nvidia. you dont feel like supporting your best single-core card? the card that offered the biggest jump in performance from the previous generation EVER? thats quite the let-down.

but its not a big deal... cause we have each other...aaawww :)

See my previous post, they put these drivers up on the 18th when the GX2 was released, they now say 25th March, as they have now added the Quad SLi support into them for the GX2 (which they didnt originally have), so if your already running these drivers from when they were upped on the 18th, and don't have a GX2, then don't waste your time with these, as you'll just be taking these ones off, and putting them back on again. :D

Yeah they won't update the 8 series drivers as they want them to be lower performing than the 9 series.
That way we'll all go and buy 9 series cards won't we Nvidia :biggun:

Forceware 174.53 does not detect my 8600GT card. i guess this only supports GeForce 9800 GX2 and GeForce 9600 GT?

YEah and the Easter Bunny really did stop by my house and hide a bunch of eggs for my kids this year. LOL

No offical drivers since December. WTF! And the only way I would upgrade my 8800GTX to a 9800GTX is if my furnace breaks down and its cheaper to by a 9800GTX to heat the house then a new furnace of which looking at the prices of the 9800 its going to be a close call. LOL
