for those of you who use rivatuner to overclock

    It won't damage the hardware in my opinion.
    If you change your mind about the noise - there are a few guides in this forum to set it according to the core temperature :)

    I don't have figures for any of the games you've tested - try running some standard benchmark tests and compare them with similar systems.
    (i.e. 3DMark06 - I have around 12000 on mine, which is close to yours)

    i tried both 3dmark 2005 and 2006 both under vista and i had 14500 in 2005 and 11600 in 2006. Don't seem to good:(

    Interesting. In a strange way. My card continually runs at 3d clocks while running vista 32 with aero. Although the Core Die is 40 degrees C at idle. Pops up to 49 under load. I would like to know how people got their 2d clocks to work properly.

    Laykun: As far as I know, a computer running Vista will use the 3D clocks as long as Aero is active.

    BTW, my CPU runs at 3 GHz.
