And you point is? Maybe I played a bit longer, but it got boring quick, and I like such fighting/grinder games..
For anyone having problems with controller button mapping and have Steam running in the background. Quit Steam. Steam controller support is messing up games default control scheme.
Iam actually enjoying this. When you go up against a skilled player and defeat him/her it is verrrrry satisfying
TAA imo, i can never see any jaggies with it and looks stunning motion. If it looks blurry use reshade (if it works) and use a little bit of sharpening.
How does it play? i've seen some heated post about the fact it's using p2p networking like every multiplayer game from Ubisoft except The Division.
pretty good with me but sometimes it'll disconnect after 10 minutes of playing a match but it won't throw you out it will re-establish the connection and continue the match even if some players left and others joined
Another thing that I don't like, there is no random matchmaking. You choose 1vs1 or 2vs2 and it will always ends up the same, after a few matches all players quits and you will end up playing against bots alone. I saw that there is an option for join a match in progress, but I never saw anybody joining my match when there is open slots.
Yeah, temporal is imho by far the best and at the same time the blurriest aa method we got. Just a shame there's so many Devs that arent really gamers implement it without adding a proper sharpening filter option. Can be fixed most times via reshade with any one of the sharp shaders, not sure if it would be safe to use for online games tho
Is anyone playing the open beta? The close beta build updated to the open beta with a 2.5 GB update on my system but on trying the game this morning I was shocked to find the game suffering from sub-60 fps framerate drops and framepacing issues on 2560x1440 maxed out settings with TAA (the recommended settings according to the game bar "lowering" AO a notch from MHAO to HBAO+). And, no, supersampled is not enabled. The whole game just felt really choppy and sluggish to play but maybe it's because I'd just come from playing the awesome Nioh at a locked 60 fps on the PS4, which its super-fast and fluid action RPG combat? I'm sure For Honor ran much better than this in the closed beta... I wasn;t even playing online either as I played against Bots. :3eyes:
@Darren Hodgson Well even the Closed Alpha (which I played) ran perfectly at 1440p with everything maxed, I think I got around 100-120fps at that time. So it's very sad if the Open Beta cant push 60, something seems very wrong here.
