Do people still do this? Folding home is for a good cause but I think people would be more likely to mine for cyber currency.
Humm, from the looks of it, development is in full swing. I do hope that this product is supported for a considerable amount of time unlike some other Google products that were canceled.
That's perfectly fine. The Folding App uses your CPU so you can run it along with mining since mining uses GPUs (AMD ones are powerful, I have read), a win-win situation, right Moreover, there is a third party project that aims to combine Folding@Home and Mining together. The Chrome Folding App (in the Chrome Web Store) is CPU only. The V7 F@H Client can use your CPU as well as your GPU, depending on how you have configured it.
yep with the V7 client the GPU's are getting some massive points especially the newer nvidia 700 series and most of the AMD card are quite good to
