Tried that, just goes back to true each time I restart. I'd prefer to do it from the advanced control client.

Also, am I better running less than 6 cores for the CPU runs to give the GPUs more data?

yeah, GPU folding (AMD) requires CPU. It's really about finding the sweet spot. Best balance between SMP and GPU. In my case, running all cores on SMP is more productive and consumes less electricity than running with GPU.

With 3 cores on SMP and the other 3 on GPU/normal duty I'm getting 94% overall CPU usage and 94% out of both GPUs, giving about 24K ppd.

Thanks for pointing it out. I have update the link now. Do note that the information is dated and might take sometime to be updated.

    That might be a little bit low. I run 2500k SMP : 4 and I get around 12k - 19k.
Try running SMP (CPU) only. Also make sure background software doesn't consume CPU while folding, since it will drastically drop your ppd.

So, anyone tried folding on an APU?

Just set this up on an old server I've got sitting around. The spec of the machine isn't much, but it's better than nothing. I don't know if I can afford the electricity hike if I install on my home machine!

I also started the other day. I am on two older computers one in the side panel and the other is a single p4 lol but I have not shut them off haha. I am theonlyQualk for folding and on many other forums.
    Happy folding

    Thanks for joining the Guru3D F@H Team buttrunks101 & Pzykotik :)

Pzykotik -> Assuming that your home machine is the one that is listed on your profile, if you want you can configure to fold only on your GPU when the system is idle. That way, the electricity bill will not be as high as compared to folding 24/7. You can try it out and if it suits your needs, you can continue, if not, you can simply discontinue it.

My machine is never idle. When it's switched on I'm using it, when I'm not... I turn it off! So I don't think setting things up that way will help unfortunately.

I've got the server sitting and ticking away 24/7 though.

Ah, thanks for clarifying that. Nonetheless, your Server is still doing valuable science :)

It currently can only fold FahCore_15 WUs because a bug in Nvidia driver is preventing FahCore_17 from running. Nvidia is aware of the bug so let's hope that a fix is released ASAP.
