This thread on the folding forums should help you out with the 5650.

looks like you just need to use the flag -forcegpu ati_r700

    7900
in this one it looks like the 7900 isn't supported.

Since you are new, the easiest set-up is this: (Option 1)
4 instances of Classic Client, detailed guide is available here.
    1 instance of
GPU2 Client, Detailed GPU2 Client Installation Guide: <Click>

However, if you want, there is another option for your system: (Option 2)
1 instance of SMP2 BETA Client, important information is available here.
1 instance of GPU3 BETA Client using -advmethods flag,
you can read this guide as it contains all relevant information about GPU3 BETA Client.

Please remember that Option 1 will have less points then Option 2 due to the SMP2 Client. It depends on how you use your PC and your contribution. Here is the common requirements which may help you to decided between Classic Client and SMP2 BETA Client:
    Use Classic Client if:
    1) System isn't running 24/7
    2) You want a set-and-forget client that doesn't need any monitoring
    3) Not savvy for points and would like to do your best with the least amount of effort
    4) Points aren't your priority
    5) You want F@H to remain unobtrusive

Use SMP2 BETA Client if: (normal; Details)
    1) You have a powerful system (A Quad is recommended for SMP2 which you have)
    2) Know their way around with F@H cores
    3) System is on 24/7
    4) Would like to contribute significantly to F@H in terms of scientific value and get the advantage of high points

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

OK dunno if I done this correctly but still..

Unzipped Windows: V6 Beta SMP2/CPU client to c:\users\Anubis\FAH
    Renamed to fah6.exe
    Opened cmd, navigated to ...\fah
entered fah6 -configonly -smp (and hopefully done everything correctly)
    entered fah6 -smp
    it downloaded something

    Says now:
    [19:26:59] Completed 0 out of 500000 steps (0%)
    all cpu cores on ~98%

Is this it or am I missing something?

    edit:
btw.. is there any way to pause thi client? or is it just safe to exit?

    Sorry for being so annoying..
Is there a GUI for this aswell like for the ps3?
    http://ocfoldingteam.files.wordpress.com/2007/11/v6guidemo-ubiquitin-spacefilling-blur.png

Also is it possible to configure (any) client so it runs when the screensaver should start, and pauses when screensaver stops, starts again etc. etc...?

Again I appologize for being annoying with this, but I've no idea about folding...
Done Seti a long long time ago, but that's about it..

gpu2 has a viewer but i causes all sort of bug if you run it, so it recommended that you don't
folding normal will let any other program that need the cpu/gpu cycles use what it need and uses the rest to fold on but when gaming or using other intensive programs it is recommeded to stop folding and then restat it when done, i don't think there is any way that you can get it to start and stop with a screensaver

SMP2 BETA Client can't be paused. If you are interested in pausing and "unpausing" then you will have to consider Classic Client's Systray Version instead of the Console one. Personally, I can say that the SMP2 Client is damn Stable, at least on my system:
Never hung up when I got the Video Driver Error
Continued from the checkpoint when I had a sudden power outage
Exited it several times and then restarted it without any difficulties

There isn't any support for screensavers but, I have come across a untested method that uses Windows Task Scheduler. If you are interested, here are the details.

One thing that I want to mention is that when you install HFM.NET, you are fine as long as you finish folding the WU before the Preferred Deadline. Since you recently joined, make sure that you have a passkey so that once you finish your 10 FahCore_a3 WUs, you will take advantage of the Bonus Points.

There is the GPU3 BETA Client that is out and is widely used. You may want to read this: GPU2 -> GPU3 Transition Guide For Windows + Link To Linux

Never heard of the PSU Brand in your signature so I will not push my luck. However, if you plan to use a Fermi and Non-Fermi in a single system for folding, please use:
    GPU3 BETA Client for Fermi
    GPU2 Client for Non-Fermi
This is to avoid the problem the Non-Fermi GPU will encounter if it attempts to fold a FahCore_15 WU.
