think of your ranking too. I could easily get back to my ranking....only took me 2 weeks to get there.

It would not take as long. Not now with my higher PPD rate.
If I could ever afford to make and run a folding farm 24/7 then I might think of changing it, but for now it stays the same.

ppd on gpu is about 1000 to 1600 (average temp is about 75 C) (hope that sounds right)....never would have thought my ps3 would get about the same...1000 to 1400

EDIT: Whoa...i was off....ps3 is much slower...must have read the wrong numbers first time (or a bit drunk)

PPD on a 9800GTX should be around the 5000ppd mark so 1000-1600 seems low, what application are you using to monitor F@H?
75 c is ok but if you are not happy then icrease your fan speed to help with the cooling.

Your PS3 uses the cell processor to fold not the gpu so it will not score as high plus it use a lot of energy compared with a pc for the same ppd.

Besides the PS3 is capped regarding PPD. It will fold quite quickly but it's capped around the 900-1000PPD area as to not have an advantage over other clients.

i was only monitoring PPD for about the first 10 min then I went to bed...the PPD was at about 2600

I think most people use Fahmon, myself included.
2600 still seems a little low, but then it does depend on the project that is running at the time.

the client im using is the gpu client for nvidia on the f@h webpage...i tried to monitor it from FahMon but it says the project would take 3 days and the F@H viewer says an hour....but instead of PPD...its now showing 500 ns/day? (the F@H veiwer that is)

It wont take 3 days unless your currently doing something to slow the GPU down, even general computer use will affect the PPD (but still 3 days is odd). My bet is that you've not finished any steps yet - in any percentage.

The console client is better for monitor IMO, nice easy to read percentages.

well FahMon is a little off because the F@H Viewer is saying 27.9% and only an hour left to go for the WU....FahMon is still saying 0%....i just have no idea what ns/day is....its in the performance spot that yesterday was saying PPD

Use FahMon to check the client log, this will be much better to see whats going on (or manually navigate to it).

Are you sure FahMon is looking at the correct directory?
Can we see more of your log file from F@H? (something that shows the amount of work completed and the data upload).
I have looked at your stats page and from that it does look as if you are working and uploading results correctly, double check your FahMon setup to get your PPD.

My F@H viewers show ns/day as well (approx 400).
