http://www.gamespot.com/promos/2006/flightsimulatorx-demo/index.html Here ya go demo soon? Whats with all those fake DX10 images we saw then rofl?? Ahhh oh well....it looks good none the less.
Gamespot is one of those sites that has "premium memberships" that allow special content. I hope we don't have to pay. That would suck donkey nuts. I'm waiting on my new parts, and I have this to look forward to as well. It will give me a chance to put my new Athlon X2 3800+ through the ringer. I'm still curious to know what kind of system FSX will need to run decently, though I don't think I'll need to worry. FS is more CPU orientated.
I would really like to know how this runs just so I can justify the upgrade I will be making this winter!
The way gamespot and fileplanet demos work are that if they are "subscriber exclusive" then the demo is usually released worldwide the next day or so for free amongst all other gaming sites.
Oh and Ghost...about the DX10 thing. MS is releasing FSX in DX9 with DX10 capable hooks built into the engine. When Vista is released and DX10 is available, a free patch will be provided to enable the DX10 rendering.
