Rust.... such an awful game and that loading time comparison really shows it - it wasn't too long ago that on an HDD, it could take upto 40 minutes for its first time load.

As for the ram amount comparison, in this "clinical" comparison, most of the games don't really show much difference, with only the frostbite based games showing any difference with 0.1 and 1% lows suffering on the 8GB system but the difference in ram amount really comes into play on a more "normal" environment with many more programs open in addition to games.

^^ Yes, but when You have 16GB+ You can easily watch YT (walktrough or something) and Play game wothout any hickups.
32GB is good for Photoshp & 3Ds Max.
also 32GB is great when You have Cache software to run with Your HDD/SSD
I have Big HDD cached with 26GB SSD + 1GB RAM*
Even NVMe can benefit from it, 2048MB cache is what i have for gaming.

*First run is always slow, but the second & ... is like SSD ;)
Now i have 2TB SSDs, 1TB NVMe Samie Pro + 500GB 850Evo & 512GB Pro (this one is for cache)

    Saber Interactive in the news:

Saber Interactive today announced the acquisition of Bigmoon Entertainment , a veteran video game developer based in Porto, Portugal.
With 18 games completed in the last decade, the 40-person team — now called Saber Porto — will focus on two new unannounced projects for consoles and PC.

Paulo Gomes, Game Director at Saber Porto, said:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to join the Saber family. Having worked closely together in the past, we hold a deep personal respect and appreciation for the company’s forward-thinking leadership and well-rounded vision.
We expect to triple our size by the end of 2020, ramping up in a big way to meet the needs of Saber’s ever-growing gaming roadmap.”

Saber’s latest acquisition builds on a long list of recent achievements for the worldwide publisher and developer, including World War Z, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, and the NBA Playgrounds and MudRunner franchises.
The company, rapidly expanding with almost 600 employees around the globe, now has fully resourced studios in five countries and a publishing office in the U.S.

Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, added:

“Saber is always on the lookout for teams with creativity, passion and expertise, and the crew at Bigmoon is a perfect fit for our culture and ambitions.
Paulo and the new Saber Porto will help us access talent in yet another thriving region, expanding our capabilities as a developer for both third-party IPs and our own original franchises.”

Absolutely, it's so smooth having plenty of ram - when I'm doing a long grind in Elite Dangerous, often have MPC-BE open (with MadVR) on the second monitor playing videos, I had 16GB on my 4690k system and it was a really good thing to do - never had any issues thanks to that foresight which I repeated again on this 3700x system with 32GB.

    Crusader Kings III

Henrik Fåhraeus, the Game Director, said in a statement:

Crusader Kings III is a grand medieval simulator where you are free to live out any plausible ruler fantasy that we could think of - but not without challenge.
Seeing its predecessor explode in popularity was very satisfying, especially considering that user friendliness was never our primary goal. Now we have a chance to address an even larger audience.

The confirmed feature list includes the following:

    • Shape Your Dynasty: Guide unique characters through history, choosing lifestyles best suited to their personalities and your ambitions.
    • Rewrite Medieval History: Dynasties will change and adapt to changes in family and politics, and religious beliefs are more firmly under your control.
    • Build a Mighty Kingdom: Use your vassals’ fear of you as a weapon or call on familial obligations to persuade reluctant relatives to submit.
    • Experience High Drama: Stranger than fiction stories leap off the screen, as characters plot against you and events push you to extremes.
    • Learn as You Go: Guided advice to help newcomers navigate a rich medieval world. In-game suggestions tip you off to paths you might not have considered.
    • The Usual Crusader Kings Fun: Keep a stubborn council in line, scheme against your overbearing uncle or marry the rich duchy...oops, I mean pious duke or duchess of your dreams.

koooolalala used 20 trees (70000 poly each, no lod) and 100 bushes (6000 poly each, no lod) in order to create this scene.
The demo was also running with 35-60fps at 1080p on a GTX970 on Epic/High settings.
Moreover, the artist did not optimize this scene, meaning that it could run even better.

    - no optimization at all
    - no pre-baked animation
    - 20 trees (70,000 poly each, no lod)
    - 100 bushes (6,000 poly each, no lod)
    - 35-60fps 1080p on a gtx970 (with epic/high quality)

Terminator: Resistance is an officially licensed, first-person shooter set during the ‘Future War’ scenario that was only glimpsed at in the iconic films from James Cameron, ‘THE TERMINATOR’ and ‘T2: JUDGMENT DAY’.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, nearly 30 years after Judgement Day.
The game also introduces a brand new hero in the Terminator universe, Jacob Rivers.

“Although Jacob is just a lowly private, he’ll soon discover that he’s been specifically targeted by the latest threat from Skynet and marked for termination.”

    and Frogger for hacking ;)

    Alien: Hope

Alien: Hope for the future is an Immersive sim project with elements of survival-horror and tactics. This isn’t a commercial game, meaning that it will be distributed for free to everyone once it’s complete.

The story of the game takes place in “Hadly’s Hope” colony , before and during the xenomorph incident. Therefore, players will assume the role of one of the colonists.
Players will have to survive by finding some supplies for them and other colonists. Players will also be able to avoid or fight xenomorphs.

What’s really interesting here is how faithful to the second Alien movie this game actually is. I mean, take a look at the trailer.
While it’s not that polished – keep in mind that it is an indie game – it features most of the iconic scenes from Cameron’s movie. Hell, it even has the hologram “Earth/nature” room.

Not only that, but players will be able to seal doors like Vasquez did and control the Power Loader like Ripley did. The game will also feature the iconic Motion Tracker (you know, the one that the marines had in Aliens).
