The creators of the lithium-ion battery awarded with Nobel Prize

    M. Stanley Whittingham, John Goodenough, and Akira Yoshino were part of the team that contributed towards the development of lithium-ion battery technology, and without them (and who they worked with, and those after) we would be stuck in the dark...
and in some cases, literally. Especially with flashlights being part of a smartphone now thanks to the rear-facing camera and LED flash, all powered by lithium-ion batteries.

    Windows 10 November 2019 Update v.1909

Microsoft has just announced that the company has finalized the next version of its desktop operating system. While we believed it would be called the October 2019 Update, the Windows maker has officially named it "Windows 10 November 2019 Update" with a slightly inaccurate version 1909.

In a blog post published this evening, Brandon LeBlanc writes that the last Insider Preview build delivered to Windows Insiders is the final build. "We believe that Build 18363.418 is the final build and we will continue to improve the overall experience of 19H2 on customers’ PCs as part of our normal servicing cadence." He added that this build includes all the latest 19H2 features along with carrying fixes that were released to the May 2019 Update via this month's Patch Tuesday updates.

Windows 10 November 2019 Update is on build 18364.418
As noted earlier, Microsoft will deliver the upcoming Windows 10 November 2019 Update as a cumulative update. Focusing entirely on performance improvements and OS stability, the next feature update isn't bringing any major changes to the operating system.

Both the May 2019 Update (version 1903) and the November 2019 Update (version 1909) share the same servicing content, which means they share the same Cumulative Update packages.
The only change is the build number which goes up from 18363 to 18364.

"Because they use the same servicing content, the build revision number (the number that comes after the dot) will always match between May 2019 Update and November 2019 Update," Brandon said.
"Today, customers on the May 2019 Update have Build 18362.418 but Windows Insiders on the November 2019 Update have Build 18363.418."

Insiders can now begin moving to a different ring

With Windows 10 November 2019 Update now finalized, Microsoft will begin moving Insiders in the Slow ring to Windows 10 20H1 - the 2020 edition of the operating system.
"We are looking to make this change in the coming weeks," the company wrote, adding that now is the time for you to verify you are in the ring that you want to be in.

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program to make sure you move to the Release Preview ring if you do not want to test Windows 10 2020 right now and want to stick with the November 2019 Update.

Google's Stadia release date has been revealed

Google has finally revealed the release date of their Stadia game streaming platform, confirming that the service will go live on November 19th 2019.

Stadia is a game streaming service which works on PCs, TVs (via Chromecast), smartphones and tablets.
The service allows games to be played on seemingly any screen where there is access to an internet connection.

Before now, Google only revealed that Stadia would release in November, arriving first to Stadia Founders Edition purchasers; who for £119/$129 receive a Chromecast Ultra,
a limited edition Night Blue Stadia controller and three months of free Stadia Pro for both the purchaser and a friend.

Google has confirmed that Stadia orders are being fulfilled and that orders will be delivered in the order that they were purchased.
Stadia will be available as a free service sometime in 2020, allowing gamers to buy Stadia games with a 1080p 60FPS resolution/framerate limit.
Stadia's Pro streaming service will cost subscribers $10/£10 per month and offer users game resolutions of up to 4K at 60FPS alongside HDR support on applicable titles.

At launch, Stadia will be available in 14 different nations, starting with Belgium, Finland, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Availability in more nations will start in 2020.
