Electronic Arts has stated that a VIP demo will be available on January 25th and the same demo will be open to everyone on February 1st.
Now while progress will not be carried over the final version, these demos will be perfect representatives of the experience that gamers will have with the full game.

BioWare Allegedly "Tried" to Make 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3' ?
Star Wars is the talk of pretty much everyone in the gaming community as of late considering the recent news that EA cancelled the highly anticipated open-world game that has been in progress for years.
While ire continues over the cancellation, it appears that another developer under EA's thumb tried to get back into the swing of it - but to know avail.
It was Kotaku's Jason Schreier that broke the initial news over the most recent cancellation but apparently, that's not the only one that couldn't get off the ground.
BioWare is known for their incredible take on the Star Wars universe and had apparently been trying to get Knights of the Old Republic 3 up and running numerous times - but clearly that progress never went anywhere.
They've tried to make it happen, more than once from what I've heard. No luck

As a huge fan of BioWare's online Star Wars adventures, I would have loved to see a third installment from this team. The characters were mesmerizing, the story was enthralling, and the gameplay was wildly addictive.
Since there seems to be a weird vacuum in the Star Wars niche and EA continues to come under heavy fire for yet another cancellation, maybe a potential story board for KotOR 3 could finally be pushed. After Anthem and Dragon Age 4, of course.
Regarding all of the speculation about the cancellation, EA did issue a response but it was a lot of words to basically say nothing at all. The weirdly evasive statement seemed to only infuriate fans even more.
"There's been speculation overnight about one of our Star Wars projects," began their statement. "As a natural part of the creative process, the great work by our team in Vancouver continues and will evolve into future Star Wars content and games."
According to an earlier report, the game in question was codenamed Orca and was reportedly axed in favor of a smaller title that is allegedly slated for a 2020 release.
Though EA's statement says a lot, it's all a very roundabout way of not really stating much at all so it will be interesting to see where this goes from here.
Endless Legend - Symbiosis [PEGI]
Symbiosis, which releases on Steam on January 24th, brings new colossal beasts and a new faction to the turn-based 4X fantasy series.
The new faction, known as the Mykara, are described as an ancient civilisation that "rose from unicellular beings to full grown warriors" with the singular goal of bringing balance back to the world.
According to Amplitude, "The Mykara originate from a unique stem city and overgrow points of interest to fuel their economy.
While they cannot settle new land, they can turn conquered enemy cities into ghost towns from which they get bonus resources. After a few turns, their symbiosis with the conquered town allow them to gain bonus traits..."
Symbiosis also introduces the Urkans - enormous beasts that appear randomly around the map to take neutral land.
Urkans can be tamed through bribery or through defeat in battle, and doing so unlocks a new set of abilities "suited for both defensive and aggressive playstyles".
What a start to 2019! One month after the launch of the Fortune Island expansion, we’re celebrating the more than 7 million people who have played
@WeArePlayground #ForzaHorizon4 since launch.
Thank you, Forza fans!
Generally speaking I tend to snap-preorder Amplitudes updates to the Endless games I own but I'm going to hold off on this one for now.
I felt that the Behemoths largely ruined Endless Space 2 - Supremacy for me, as it made the entire game revolve pretty much around those ships, and I get the same vibe from these "Urkans" for Endless Legend.
Just ahead of the weekend, Microsoft kicked off an 'Ideas Drive'. The request came, more specifically, via Team Xbox aiming to shepherd those with ideas that could improve Windows 10 gaming to an ideas collection portal.
The initial request from Windows 10 gamers comes with a number of questions attached but the ideas collection phase goes beyond this scope and via the portal users can create new suggestions vote on existing suggestions and leave comments on suggestions already presented.
Though the suggestions are open to anything that could make gaming on Windows 10 even better, a trio of areas to focus your brains was suggested by Microsoft, as follows:
What do you want Windows to do (or stop doing) while you’re playing a game?
What can Windows do to optimize your gaming experience?
What other gaming features would you like to see?
I've screen-shotted the top four suggestions at the time of writing to give you can idea of how things are progressing right now, after a weekend of suggestions and input.
You can see that the most popular and third most popular suggestions are about PC processing optimisation for gaming, covering similar ground, and build upon Microsoft's own Game Mode adjustments. More interesting still are suggestions that Microsoft build a Windows 10 Gaming Edition OS, and allow users to browse and launch games on their PC using a controller.
The Twitter comments and suggestions look quite different from the above. Among the Tweets are requests for a better Store – or just linking up with Steam, and there are quite a few requests for Xbox emulation on PCs expanding further on the Xbox Play Anywhere idea.
