good morning i am using for several years now my DELL U2414H ( 1080P\60Hz\IPS ). i am thinking about upgrading to 1440P in the upcoming months, 27' in size sounds about right. my main usage is gaming, mostly single player games. sometimes some casual online gaming, normal daily browsing, daily use in excel sheets and that's about it. my current screen is fine for me in terms of performance\lag free and 60Hz also works for me so im not interested in going for a higher refresh rate, just upgrading the working space hence going for 1440P. one thing im not sure about is the issue with Freesync\Gsync on a 60Hz. is it worth it ? and if possible i would like for some suggestions for a suitable monitor ( 1440P\27'\IPS\60Hz ). much appreciate it.
within the limits of reasonable for those type of monitors. i don't have an exact amount, im also not interested in paying less for a "generic" screen.. i prefer buying from a known brand. i am also searching myself, but i might miss some options so il be happy for some suggestions. thank you.
Many sites with reviews show $400-$600 for a good IPS 1440p. I have an Asus ROG Strix PG279Q, got it as an open box for $460. It’s an incredible monitor. Colors are fantastic and smooth as butter. Freesync compatibility would be fine and helps save some money.
You can take a look at the LG 27GL83A-B: https://reatbyte.com/2020/11/21/lg-27gl83a-b-monitor-review-the-best-1440p-27-monitor/ It is currently about $350 with 27", 144hz, 1440p.
