Find out FPS

In FEAR, through the "Test settings" option, the game will check Min/Max/Average FPS.

How can I find out such values in other games? Any software to evaluate FPS based on current settings?

yeh download fraps, it'll show the fps in the corner of the screen in real time

 

yeah fraps will do fine... i was about to say u can just use att but u dont get an ati card

 

www.fraps.com is the site for fraps.
However if youwant to record video then it will display "www.fraps.com" at the top of it, unless you "buy" the retail version.

 

Thanks for the recommendation. I downloaded frpas 1.9C from Guru3D. It works fine in Oblivion and FEAR, but the sampling rate will simply not show in BF2.

Any idea why?

 

Nope, fraps works fine in bf2, make sure to press f11 to turn it on...
