first try was 4.7ghz ( win 1607 ) cpu and last 4.9ghz ( 17134 ) but 1k jump is not the 200 extra mhz i think
Well, 200mhz can make a difference, try at same clock.. I didnt see any jump like that, could just be a glitch somewhere, or even balanced vs high perf. Power plan.
Well i tried 388.31 vs 397.31 and score is exactly same, would be nice if that latest update for Win10 would give this nice boost.
It didn't for me, actually i lost 50-70 points compared to RS3. Tested 389.20, 391.37, 397.31 and now atm 397.40., all tests at RS4
He talked about me : 8500 to 9492 ( power plan always on perf mod and all 1080 card scored around 8500) look at page 7 9307 on windows 7 OS last week same settings ... tested few times under 1607 - 1703 - 1803 and seven OS same results .
First i upgraded to 17134.5 then score lowered to 5500 for 1920x1080 HIGH After that i did clean install of 17134.5 and score was back to 8500. So no change in score compared to older WIndows version. What's worse, after Windows restart i have again 5500. For some reason GPU does not get load to 99% all the time, but randomly drops to 50-60%.
Why? Do you play ffxv? This benchmark is flawed anyway, not really a perf. Indicator. They fixed most of the stuff in retail. Normal games/benchmarks are ok, I wouldn't ditch RS4 because of this benchmark, just update to 17134.5 and you're good. Also 397.40vk driver or other 397.31, I prefer vulkan version though
Just beat my highest score again. This time I'm using the same drivers but windows 17134.5. This is the highest score I've seen on here with anyone using a 1080ti and only roughly 100 points away from the results posted by a TitanV user a few posts back.
Found randomly that if i have for example Firefox with twitch.tv page opened with random stream active, GPU get properly fully loaded. If Firefox does not have any page loaded, GPU utilisation is again lower, interesting. One more thing, benchmark have fps limit set to 240, while most of bench time, fps are much lower, at some parts it hits this limit easily, if someone would raise this limit, it could impact total score. Very weird benchmark idea, to limit fps, even this high... well that's all for this benchmark for me
1080p for the hell of it. I game on a 4k 60hz screen so it doesn't really matter to me. Cpu might be holding me back but once again, only would concern me at 1080p.
High. Sheesh! I thought my Overclocked ASUS STRIX 1070 would be a mammoth leap from my 970. Man, my 3570k kept redlining at 100% through most of the demo. Brutal.
