Hello) i also have Gigabyte gtx460, and have the same problem.

No latency issues here. Got like 300us in idle and 100-150us when im playing. Now spikes. You can look at my specs on the right side of my post. Using Windows7 64bit. Driver doesnt matter it seems.

    News from Gigabyte:

it looks like this only happens with some motherboards..like the P45 chipset...
this is why some of u people dont have this issue....

man i hope they change that or i RMA the Card and get me the EVGA or whatever..

This Problem only applyes to certain mobos and all GTX460 cards....

like p45 chipset and X48 chipsets. they tried it and reproduced everything like i have..

its a problem with the C-States on the gtx 460 . its only happeniing with the GTX460 and it is NVIDIAS FAULT..

oh boy, what did i found out there,, this is gonna make Big waves on nvidia..argh
actually my name is beta..haha and i testet like i always do and now..i hope nvidia is not getting to angry at me..lol..
so they rushed out the cards to early without testing i guess..shame on them ...

LOL i have Asus P5E whit Rampage Formula 1001 Bios , Gigabyte 460 oc 1GB and no problems !
But did you tried to disable AERO !?
A quick way to do the test is staring Vantage ( no testing just the interface ) and do the test again ! Hope it will help you and don't move the mouse for better testing !
    Gpu driver 258.96 !

and yes i did indeed TRIED EVERYTHING..
and workers from gigabyte did confirm, so theres no need for more testing, theres even nothing more to test..
i just can wait till they fixed it or whatever..

BetA13, i have doing some test, and the problem arent exclusive to gigabyte. In my case, the culprit its nvlddmkm.sys, so the most probable its only a Driver Issue with some boards.

    Yes, sorry:

    CPU: i7 920
    MB: P6T V2 Deluxe
    Video: Zotac 460 1G | MSI 460 1G Cyclone -> Both running 258.96
    RAM: 12GB DDR3 triple channel

im sure that its driver problem. Anyway, the high DCP dont affect me afortunately.

Same problem with my 460 gtx, though i already started a rma with new-egg cause of the buzzing noise it makes when gaming.
Figured this was a driver issue, so i was not to concerned about it.
    anyway specs as followed

    CPU: Intel x3360
    MB: gigabyte ep45-ud3r
    VC: Gigabyte 460 gtx
    Driver: 258.96

ps. did you try the drivers on the gigabyte disk i think they are different that the 258.96 ones. Also I think these drivers are causing me stuttering issues in games, for example aion.

All I see here is the vast majority of people voting 'no issue', and you coming out saying 'Confirmed by Gigabyte' with no proof.

Same problem here, worked fine with my previous ATI HD4850.

Now I've got better graphics performance but stuttering audio and high latency spikes when the GPU throttles down. Disabling the Nvidia card solves the problem. Not ideal considering I mainly use my pc for audio recording and editing.

    CPU: Intel Q9550
    Mobo: MSI P35 Neo2-FR
GPU: MSI GTX 460 Cyclone OC 1GB
    Driver: 258.96
    RAM: 8GB DDR2
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64/Vista Home 64/XP Home 32bit triple boot (happens in both 7 & Vista, not tried XP yet)

    :bang:
