Nice graphics. Shaders need quite some sharpening/contrast, a lot of stuff is blurred. But environment design looks very cool.

Indeed. Sadly it's BR so I'm not interested.

Right, I missed that. Too bad. I have PUBG/Fortnite and I kind of do not enjoy that play style.
BR is kind of thing you release when you do not know how to make game content which will keep people playing. Or when you do not have resources to develop all story lines or procedural AI.

Well, I have to say, BR is a concept that's supposed to keep people fighting in a round if there's no real objectives to play.
I see the sense behind it, but it lacks appeal to me personally. Obviously other's see that different, to each their own :)

I like how it looks. If this game won't be infested by cheaters like Fortnite / Pubg, it may be worthwhile playing.

Also, they Must make proper sound positioning. Otherwise its a waste of time like modern CoD games.

I just hope they will make another true STALKER game in the future...

Yes, that's true. But one less game to wait for to get out of early access after all :D

I just think it's funny how in 2012. Vostok Games took STALKER theme and jumped on MMOFPS bandwagon(*) in what they called “STALKER Idea’s Next Evolutionary Step”
(*)think Blizzard's Titan, Planetside 2. I mean it's Blizzard, these guys must know wtf they're doing, right?)

And now in 2018, Battle Royale is the sht. So instead of making good on promises for one STALKER themed game, they are making more promises and releasing new STALKER themed game.

You'll be happy to hear that there is a sequel coming out for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. Should be around 2020 I believe.

I'm extremely interested in this one coming up.

Considering how they developed it in the past, 2022 to be realistic.

I wish developers would figure out other ways of monetizing their products.
Empirically, early access games fail more often because players run away when they see an unfinished product and often don't give the game another chance. Customers shouldn't be involved in alpha/beta testing in products like games because it ruins their first impression. They're not used to doing procreating QA.

Look at Quake Champions, so many people were completely disappointed when it was in early access. I think it still is? I don't even know even though I constantly play it.
If this game frustrates me, a developer who has a clue about the development process of software and who's generally understanding when it comes to software issues, how can it not be frustrating to the average Joe?
And if the game fails I'd bet my ass Bethesda will just release their next game in Early Access too, 0 lessons learned. This whole industry is treated more and more like a cash cow.

If your product isn't in a decent state, don't ask money for it. It kills the product long-term, for short-term satisfaction. And even if free, don't give the public access to the unfinished parts.
Slapping an 'early access' subtitle to an unfinished game is not an excuse for asking money for it. You released an unfinished game, period.

If you as a studio can't fund the project from beginning to the end without early access, you shouldn't work on that project. It just means it's too big for you.
