Same in mp3, but for AVI videos I usualy do DivX Player (because of the ATi postprocesing acceleration) and for the rest I do BS Player (BullSh¡t player hehe) and if it doesn't work I do wmp9.

I use Winamp 2.xx for mp3s and I use BSplayer for video files. I also use WMP9 for other audio formats

    Media Player Classic ( http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=84358 )

It's 1 executable, nothing else. 1MB in filesize. In conjunction with Real Alternative, QuickTime Alternative, and the K-Lite Codec Pack... it plays every type if video file out there very quickly and efficiently.

If you are minimalist and hate resource hogs, give it a try.

i tried nero mix it sucked but good sound quality cuz of its equalizer. i hate the gui you cant resize the window nor sort the playlist. also resource hungry.

I used Winamp for years. But now I am using WMP9.

The sound quality is so much better. SO much better..

I still hate the jukebox quality of both players.

I need to just code my own player in .NET.
    :D

I have hundreds of MP3's. It's hard to organize/find/seach using either WA or WMP.
    hehe
