Yeah I think you are right, I am running that Park Control software on both my M14X laptop and my main rig to see what it tells me (both 8.1 x64) and it already says that parking is disabled. There goes my fun in experiments
low cpu vcore will cause driver crashing at times imo, one of the reasons i give it loads of juice. my game crashes on the odd occasion though afer 1.06 yes but it's worth it. i'm 24/7 1.42v on the cpu.
Ubisoft's 2015 to-do list: 1. Promote FC4 DLC 2. Make sure microtransactions are running smoothly 3. More Assassins Creed Unity damage control 4. Publish FC5 bullshots . .. ... .... ..... 1,000,001. Fix crossfire for FC4 Enjoy the wait. The game will be $4.99 before your hardware configuration is fully supported. If only AMD had deeper pockets. :wanker:
Still CTD with latest patch if Simulated fur is enabled here, no errors, just gone, syncs saves, end of
I got it working by forcing it through RadeonPro and forcing clock speeds. It's smoother alright but not 60fps smooth, dips to 45's alot but it's hella lot better then 30-35.
Just wanted to let you know that those omega drivers, you know the ones they just released a couple weeks ago. Yeah well those were the drivers that finally fixed farcry 3.....so yeah you might be waiting awhile. Add to that, that AMD is blaming UBI for it not working, and yeah it will probably never get fixed. from the release notes: AMD CrossFireâ„¢ Frame Pacing improvements: Designed to reduce stuttering from graphics memory intensive applications: Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution, Watch Dogs, Far Cry 3 Farcry 3 release date November 29, 2012 Catalyst Omega driver release date December 10, 2014 Two years to fix a AMD GAMING EVOLVED title, how long do you think it will take for a NVIDIA title? AMD is worthless.
Try lowering your GPU core clock and see if it still does it. Just set it around 1300MHz for a test run. Your mem clock should be fine though, usually it will freeze your system or get artifacts with too high mem clocks.
Stupid ass fur. That's all I wanted for xmas Does yours CTD if you select "Save & Quit" in the menu? or does it actually save then go to the main menu? Mine worked twice after 1.6.0 then it just went back to CTD as soon as the progress bar hits about half way :3eyes:
I can play the game with everything including fur enabled, but at some point it just quits (CTD) - I can do what I like in the menus, and start and play the game, it just doesn't last long Turn Fur off and I can play for as long as I like
Does it actually show the hairworks faulting module? That's what I get, so I just leave it set to on...as much as I love simulated.
I tried using adaptive vsync to lock the game into 40fps (1/3 refresh rate) so I could use 1440 DSR and the mouse lag is so bad it's almost unplayable. Everyone keeps saying that a lower locked fps is supposed to be better than 55-60fps fluctuating so I guess there's a problem with this game engine?
No, the thing with people being happy with locking fps on PC to lower than 60 is that they are normally less susceptible (or simply dont care) to fps changes/stutter/fluctuations compared to someone who must have 60fps as a minimum. FPS lower than 60 on pc is far different to that of a locked 30fps on consoles, which I believe is down to the layers of motion blur and post-processing or the controller equivilant to to mouse smoothing. Your just one of those unlucky pc gamers like myself that cant stand anything power than 60, and until i go high end again, im too scared to pick up a 120hz monitor
It has done in the past, but that's a different crash when it shows the actual error, lately it's just been complete quit of the game as if I quit myself When hairworks errors out, the game freezes, goes windowed mode, then white, I have to alt-tab and kill it from task manager
Game runs flawlessly for me. Been on 344.65 since beginning of game. Quite enjoying it, best FC in series imo. Best vegetation rendering in any game I've seen, even Crysis.
