    I'm not that far off using a single 8800 ultra. Maybe you just need to upgrade. :biggun:

    1440x900 (native res, 19" wide), 4x antialiasing, ultra high, DX9 of course (Windows XP 64 bit here)

    small ranch, 1 run. hardware = stock, i do not like to overclock nor use tweaking software such as Riva Tuner.

    [IMG]

    edit: forgot to mention, i'm using 8.11 WHQL, 8.9 and 8.10 + hotfix were give or take 2fps slower average wise (used to get 58-59fps) now its 61, min fps was the same 47-48.

    you guys probably get better fps thanks to overclocking, don't mind really, game is smooth as a baby bum here.

    I ran the exact same settings with my overclocked 8800GTS 512MB and got

    Settings: Demo(Ranch Small), 1680x1050 (60Hz), D3D10, Fixed Time
    Step(No), Disable Artificial Intelligence(No), Full Screen, Anti-Aliasing(4x), VSync(No), Overall Quality(Custom), Vegetation(Very High), Shading(Ultra High), Terrain(Ultra High), Geometry(Ultra High), Post FX(High), Texture(Ultra High), Shadow(Very High), Ambient(High), Hdr(Yes), Bloom(Yes), Fire(Very High), Physics(Very High), RealTrees(Very High)

    * Average Framerate: 29,05
    * Max. Framerate: 42,05
    * Min. Framerate: 22,85

    Why on earth do I get such low performance 11fps lower than you? I'm starting to get worried. I'm running Vista x64 fresh install. Anyone?

    New pc all stock on e8400 cpu and 260gtx maxcore gfx.

    I only have a 19" monitor so cant go higher than 1280x1024 but the game looks and runs real nice.

    Nice numbers..what is your 260 clocks and what driver did you get those scores with? Here is my run with 181.00 drivers, exact copy of your test.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the compliment Foes..

    I think that run was all at stock, i dont actually know what the graphics card default clocks are. I will have to get rivatuner for that.

    I will now do another run as my cpu is overclocked to 3.6ghz and nvidia control panel set to performance with all settings in nvidia control panel at defaults also, My POV geforce 260 is still at default clocks.

    The driver is the whql 180.48

    Run 1

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Settings: Demo(Ranch Small), 1280x1024 (60Hz), D3D9, Fixed Time Step(No), Disable Artificial Intelligence(No), Full Screen, Anti-Aliasing(8x), VSync(No), Overall Quality(Ultra High), Vegetation(Very High), Shading(Ultra High), Terrain(Ultra High), Geometry(Ultra High), Post FX(High), Texture(Ultra High), Shadow(Ultra High), Ambient(High), Hdr(Yes), Bloom(Yes), Fire(Very High), Physics(Very High), RealTrees(Very High)

    I dont know if the default settings make my score as high as if i set everything to quality in the control panel i get about the same scores as you and to be honest i see no difference at all between performance and quality but i gain around 15 fps.

    Yep..it was the drivers...appears 180.48 is better for FC2 than the 181.00 Still weird that your is slightly more FPS than mine and your 260 @ stock clocks and mine is OC'ed to 655/1404/2250. Here is same run using the 180.48

    P.S. go to photobucket.com to host your screen shots.

    Here is what I got with my new GTX295, not the best but I'm very pleased with it so far. It's my first Nvidia card since the 6800ultra, and a huge improvement over the 3870 it replaced.

    I'm really jealous of the guy with 2 GTX 260's...

    I could save up and buy another 260, but then I'd need a better CPU and PSU...
