The problem is that the only people who's heads should roll are those who are able to make heads roll in the first place So either nothing will happen, or some poor SOBs will be made scapegoats of.
Are they going to fix PVP or is it still just going to stay a singleplayer game with always online requirement to play?
I'm... kind of shocked. Surprised... or even... dumbfounded. By the fact that people are surprised that Bethesda will continue to update and use the Creation engine. The videos, articles and community reaction is... a bit... well, I mean come on. This was common sense. Yes, everyone wants them to get a new engine, that will magically remove all the Bethesda jank. But, who... deep down, honestly thought they would actually do that? When they updated the engine and renamed it to Creation, it became clear that they were not going to try licensing tech, or building a new in house engine. They were going to ride this one out for the longest of hauls. Will the name change? Or probably. I wouldn't be surprised if they update the name from Creation to something else when Starfield releases. But, at no point.. did it ever seem like even the slightest of options that Bethesda were going to drop the engine. I mean, they've had John Carmack working for them. And didn't use him. And now Tiago Sousa works for id... and they haven't been using him to do anything with their tech.
It's like a train wreck that happens in slow motion and goes on and on and on... I just can't stop watching it.
I've been a gamer for about 27 years now, and this is literally one of the rare extremes I've seen. This completely destroys any other 'bad consumer service' case I've read about in the past 10 years.
Never fear though, Bethesda is owning up to the mistake and is offering $5 worth of premium currency as compensation! The train wreck continues...

All of the above. I am so glad I didn't buy this game. Still playing a heavily modded Fallout 4. Running 200 + and they were free.
