Online possibly, wonder how this will work.
That's interesting, although I'm hopeful that it is going to be like New Vegas (spinoff) and not some online/MMO type game.
Shitey rust clone incoming
I'm kind of hoping Bethesda use ID's experience to overhaul the engine.
As much as they make a fun game, their engine is really subpar.
Ok.. but can it be offline too? A lot of the survival games are great and all, but here's hoping that it can be fully enjoyable as an offline experience too like The Forest and most other survival games. Regardless, a Fallout survival game could be very interesting. Another good question is what engine will they be using? Please no more Gamebryo (or what Gamebryo has become)..
"But Fallout 76 is in fact an online survival RPG that’s heavily inspired by games like DayZ and Rust, according to three people familiar with the project."
Well that is very disappointing.
Well, if that's true... my interest in this just went down lower then zero.
Everyone I know regarding Fallout 76
Throw me anything fallout name on it.
Better than any remake sht.
Ugh had my interest until I saw online
Would much rather have a remaster of Fallout 3. And it seems, so would the majority of the fanbase.
The reaction to the rumors of online only has been really bad.
I would like a remaster mostly due to Fallout 3, and New Vegas being very very crash prone when using any operating system other than Windows Vista, and seeing as AMD don't have drivers for my video card for Windows Vista, I would very much like a remaster so I can finish both games, which I have not actually finished, I have my saves for both games still...... would love to be able to play them again.
I would love Fallout 3 with Fallout 4's gunplay.
But, a few people from Bethesda have come out and said people shouldn't be jumping to conclusions about this game.
As people have expressed disinterest in an online only Fallout, an animator from Bethesda said that people won't be disappointed.
Wee moar survival games, how long till this fad ends?
Well, I'm out of here.
Mark my words. Bethesda Softworks are going to try introducing online components for all their games. Maybe even TES6 so they have an excuse to phase out free mods and only use their paid creation club mod-garbage. There's already a leaker saying Fallout 76 won't support free user-created mods, only Creation Club, due to it's online aspect. This is the direction they want so they can maximize their profit with micro-transaction crap!
O well… Sounds bad but I'll wait for the release before I say that it sucks.
