The fog, haze washed out look of FO4 is one of the most disgusting things I've seen yet in gaming. Yes, fog and haze exist in real life but I dont want it as poorly done as it is in this game. Nor do I want it even if expertly done. I dont want to be immersed in "realism", I just want absolute clarity everywhere in the game.

console cmds: gr fog 1 (disables fog), gr fog 0 (returns to default state).

NOW... how do I make the console cmd stick? Any ini tweaks that correspond to it?

    Fog on (default game)

no offence, alanm, but i think fog is the least of your worries inregards to image clarity going by those screens.

Why are they....is the resolution extremely low? They seem overly pixilated.

Though i do agree about the fog in the game, but more so its perceived performance hit and the fact that the majority of the fog thats implemented is imply just a smokey transparent texture that hovers above the ground. This i most obvious when walking up a steep incline or crouching in fog.
